I went to Sunshine Automotive last week to get a quote for the skirt under my front bumper. Nick, in the front office, was incredibly helpful and wonderful. He managed to fix it on the spot for me! In years past, I have had repairs done at Sunshine and the service and workmanship has always been impeccable. As a senior, I particularly appreciated Nick's demeanor when dealing with me. I can’t say enough how wonderful this company is. They walked us through every part of the claim experience and worked with the car rental company to make it as painless as possible. They called to keep us updated on the work and had our car finished before the estimated date. We were able to drop off the rental right there and they brought out our car fully restored and cleaner than when we dropped it off. Everyone there was so kind and informative, especially Heather. I would recommend this family owned company with 10 stars!!

Easily the best customer service I had in my car repair process. Between dealing with insurance companies and Enterprise, these folks at Sunshine were on top of their game and kept me updated with everything, thank goodness. I don't know what I would have done if I had to rely on the other people haha
The customer service 10/10, the repair 10/10 (which is under 100% warranty), AND THE FACT THAT THEY DEEP CLEANED MY CAR! Oh my gosh, I had been trying to get the dog hair out of my carpet for years it seems. Little things like that, going above and beyond, is what makes the BIGGEST DIFFERENCE!

So I brought my car here after referral. Was Greeted by Jen first day - very nice! Had to a bit of a waiting list so I made an appointment to bring the car back (Nissan Altima 2020). Actually Missed my appointment date, but they allowed me to bring the car the day after. Dropped the car off and Pauline let me know they were waiting with the parts to fix my ride. Called me about a week and half later to schedule pickup… cleaned it up really good. Did AMAZING WORK. Would absolutely recommend! One of the owners, Tina, along with Dan made sure everything was to my standards. And away I drove. Perfect collision repair 💯👍🤝🏾 Love sunshine automotive !!

Had a minor bumper problem. AutoNation (its a Toyota) wanted $1200 to replace bumper. Sunshine fixed in 15 mins, a clip and screw and charged me ZERO. I will trust them with my car for now on and I'm telling everyone about this. There are nice honest people around here ☺.

I picked up my car yesterday. This was not my first experience with Sunshine. Everything was perfect. The repair looks fabulous. Everyone I dealt with genuine and professional. Would highly recommend.

This was the best auto shop experience I’ve ever had. As a single female I am always a bit hesitant when bringing my car to a body shop but Sunshine was amazing!! They were honest, straight forward, very communicative and transparent throughout the process and overall did great work for a fair price. Nick was great to work with! I will definitely be coming back if I need my car serviced in the future.

Tina, Heather and Nick, welcomed us and looked at our car right away. Verses paying the high deductible, we were hoping they could just get the door operational. Well, before I knew it, Nick got one of his auto body techs to look at it, and within a few minutes had that door operational. My daughter couldn't be happier. Nick went ahead and wrote an estimate for the other minor work should we decide to make a claim. These folks are professional, experienced and friendly. When preparing to pay for the door repair, Nick told me it was no charge. :) What a blessing that was. That is so helpful for me right now.

I had the plastic cover above my wheel come off while driving. Took my car into Sunshine and they helped me put in back on for free right on the spot! Didn’t even have to wait. Everyone there was super helpful and incredibly nice! Will for sure come back in the future.

Dean and his guys did a great job on my truck. Came in with rust damage and wanting a liner put over the repairs instead of paint, lined my flares for me also. He kept me updated on what they found when they cut into it, also sent me pictures which was much appreciated. Also the detail when the truck was finished was amazing, I don't think the floorboards were that clean when I bought the truck. I would recommend to anyone and Ill be a returning customer for sure.

I stopped by to get an estimate for some minor damage on my Ford F150. Nick quickly assessed that rather than go through Sunshine Automotive, it would probably be more cost effective to use a paintless dent removal specialist and he even recommended a provider. I love the fact that he didn't push for the work, but instead looked out for my best interests. He even buffed out the marks caused by the collision! I highly recommend Nick and Sunshine Automotive and I will be using him for any future needs (hopefully, not soon). Thanks Nick!

Excellent workmanship in repairing my 1961 Rolls-Royce. There are no replacement parts available as it has a custom hand built body of aluminum. I expect the work to take 4 or 5 months and the car is ready for the paint shop.

I was recommended to Sunshine Automotive from my realtor because they said this company does the best car paint jobs in St. Pete. I came in around 4/25/2023 for a quote, and they took about 15-30 minutes. They had a long backlog, and I wasn’t scheduled until 6/5/2023 (1.5 months later) to repair small-medium scratches on my car. Jen informed me the work would take 1-1.5 weeks at most which worked out fine. I emphasized the work completed before 6/16/2023 because I was going out of the country. Unfortunately, the work was not completed by 6/14/2023, and I was very frustrated. Thankfully, Dean and Tom kept me updated every day and put their best people on my car to finish the work by the afternoon on 6/16/2023. I was extremely grateful for their efforts to repair my car and get it ready for me before I was out of the country. I liked that they also provide a lifetime warranty on the paint job. If you have the time to wait for their repairs, you will be in good hands with Dean.

Dean and his team are always placing the bar higher, genuine, professional and on time.
The way the treat their guests is on the same level as their work.

Had some light scratches and tar from fireworks and were able to get it back to factory the first time

Guess I can't write 2 reviews but Sunshine always treats me like family anytime I need something done. Ran into the trashcan in my truck but they did a wonderful job getting it out! No job seems to be too big or too small

Tom has been amazing at every step for my custom job for my dodge challenger, even going as far as to take an extra 2 hours to get the color of the white close to exact instead of relying on the color code.

They may be a bit more priced than others but quite honestly would you have cheap and subpar work or a little priced and over the top work? Thanks again Tom.

I had my vehicle repaired at Sunshine Automotive recently. Everyone from Jen, Tom and owners Tina and Dean were awesome. They got my vehicle in when promised, kept me updated during the process and my vehicle was done when promised. They did a great job on the repairs and clean up. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a good body repair shop.

Had a wonderful experience at Sunshine Automotive! We took in my mother's Mercedes after another driver backed into her car causing her rear quarter panel to pop out. I was expecting a pricey repair. Much to my delight, Tom tapped it back into place without charging anything! They now have a customer for life! Thank you!
