This is the parking place for the Lehigh trail head. The trail is about 300 yards further south. There is a restroom here and plenty of parking. In the far corner of the parking lot is the bike maintenance stand which includes an air pump, and some tools if your have a flat. There is no picnic area here. There is also a dirt BMX bike trail to the north of this parking spot. On some Saturdays they hold events and the parking lot and side of the road are filled with parked cars. A word of caution when riding your bike on the Lehigh trail, look for spray paint marks on the pavement, these are bumps that could throw you from your bicycle.

Fully equipped trail head: ample parking, restrooms and bike maintenance equipment. All is free - a courtesy of the City/County.
Trail itself is almost 14 miles round trip with several road crossings, all but 1 equipped with the street lights.
Trail is well maintained , however, some crude patching has been observed
in leg 1. That same leg is less shady during the 2nd half of the day.

The trail features frequent rest benches - very convenient, thank you.

Well paved, shaded and scenic bike trails.
Bathrooms at the trailhead were clean.
Too many Benches and trash cans in the trail.
Lot of wildlife.. Turtles, snakes, armadillos, birds..

Our first time and We loved it.

I’ve lived in Palm Coast for 3 years and finally took the time to check this trail out. It’s so peaceful with a few road crossings if you go the entire length. My AllTrails app tracked 14 miles bikes in total. I went on New Years Day and passed quite a few people, but not as many as I expected for a holiday. Great spot for walking, running, biking, etc.

This is a nice east west paved bike/walking trail. It is a rather short ride of 6.9 miles, but we took it from one end to the other and back, so it made for a nice ride.
The only drawbacks to me are that you have 3 roads to cross. They are at intersections, but it still makes me a bit uncomfortable, not being a strong bike rider. Also, the only bathroom is located at the eastern most portion of the trail.
There is also a nice sized parking lot on the east end, however, there are no picnic tables anywhere, and just a handful of benches.
It is mostly shady along the ride and rather sheltered from a lot of wind.
This trail is definitely on our list to do more often.

Nice trail. Maybe if you ride far enough you'll find your way back to peace and happiness. I wouldn't count in it though.

Nice paved trail with good shade cover. Also once you get on the trail, road noise disappears. Very nice walking trail.

Well marked trailhead with clean bathrooms. Nice little flat and shaded 7 mile trail along a canal. Easy and safe road crossing. Saw a gator near the beginning of the trail in the swamp. Be careful on the boardwalk section in the beginning of the trail as it can be very slippery when wet.

Myself, my wife and a friend bicycled the Lehigh Trail yesterday. We rode in the mid-morning from the east trailhead to US 1 and back. It was a wonderful experience and had a beautiful tree canopy cover over a large amount of the trail. A few maintenance needs but overall an excellent trail. We will surely visit the trail in the future. Great job Flagler County Parks and Recreation.

Great hiking, nature walking, and biking trail. Paved the whole way. Fallen trees from recent hurricane were cleared quickly. Well maintained.

Paved, level, shady. Benches and bike repair spots. Not crowded when I went, a Monday holiday. To get to trail from parking lot you have to go back out along main road (wide sidewalk)

Downloaded Trail Link app. This was our first trail on the app. My wife and I hiked half the trail from Colbert Lane To Interstate 95 and returned back. About 5 miles round trip.

Nice paved trail to take the dogs. They enjoyed it and the trail is wide enough that i didn't have to worry about the bike riders.
