Mt Dora Parks & Recreation

Great little town for a quick getaway if you're a florida local. It has a nice vibe to it. There are good restaurants and bars and a great place to just stroll the town. There was a farmers market there on Sunday. I'm not sure if it's every weekend, but it made the experience that much better. We will go back for sure.

Love this little town! This place smells like garlic bread and gourmet popcorn. So many cute stores and restaurants right by the water. Can't wait to return!

A lovely place to visit on a weekend, walk the streets, enter the shops, purchase little things, and just enchant your eyes and soul with its atmosphere. It was a pleasure seeing it!

Walked around downtown after the parade. We love going here. Lots of cute shops and unique gifts and things to see. We love to wander around and pop in and out of shops.

Beautiful town, very nice Christmas lights in the town. You should not miss it if you are in Orlando.

What a lovely city. It was our first visit and I was impressed. There were several shops and restaurants but not too touristy. We didn’t have time to do a boat tour so I am
looking forward to doing that next time. People were friendly and helpful, definitely worth the almost 2 hr drive from Tampa

Love this small town!! However, the food could be a bit better. We went to an Italian place and the prices were reasonable, but my mom had ordered a lasagna and they gave her a chicken parm.

Beautiful, old Florida. Love the Spanish Moss, and lovely lakes, the egrets, lizards and alligators. The humidity in July/August is a little challenging, but supposed to keep your skin young- looking if you stay out of harsh sun. Nice paths, and so much beauty to take in. Who needs the beach? Just kidding. I plan to visit the beaches, too, but this is a beautiful area.

We attended the Mt Dora Arts and Crafts festival and had a great time.If you have never been, then plan to go next year. You will be amazed at how large it is and the variety of things you are able to purchase. The town of Mt Dora is beautiful, stroll the town and enjoy the quaintness, you'll love it!

I cannot say enough good things about Mount Dora rec. Megan and her team are absolutely fantastic. They are timely, organized, responsible, communicative… I could
go on for days. I am genuinely grateful to be part of a community that does so much for its children!

Great American town to visit. An absolute breathing lake with very friendly residents. If you are like me and enjoy canoodling, this lakefront town is a must for water sport activities.

I had to go to the Mount Dora Parks and Recreation Department in reference to burying my mom. The lady Jennifer that I spoke with was very nice and very helpful. She made one of the hardest moments of my life very pleasant.

Beautiful town and surrounding area. Walkable and friendly..

Craft festival was very nice. Lots of vendors and food choices.

Mt. Dora had several shopping and food choices. Easy to walk around .

I love Mount Dora. I am from Maine and would love to live there.
