They have such a convenient post office built into the store. It's open many more hours than a government post office. And of course, the hardware store has pretty much everything you need to do anything.

Everything was clean, stocked, and faced. Very nice staff. And great items, including some quality & crazy stuff I've not seen at big box stores.

Great service. I wish I had remembered the man's name who helped me find items. I was making DIY christmas decorations and wasn't sure what to look for (see picture for results). Well organized store with all the basics needed. I normally go to Lowe's but will be coming here more often now.

Much larger than expected. Very good selection. Ace Hardware store. Found the gas fireplace maintenance items I needed.

Great place to find everything you need to do those jobs around the house. I go for one thing and always find something else that I need or want.

The staff at this location are awesome! Everyone is very helpful and friendly. I needed something to get paint off concrete and the gentleman showed me right to it. And he wasn't sure if they carried magnet clips, but found he found them and then found me in the store! Above & beyond every time.

Neighborhood is convenient when you don't want to drive all the way to Lowes or Home Depot. Super friendly and helpful staff. And LOVE they have a mini post office in the back to buy stamps and ship packages!

Wow! This has to be the friendliest place in Virginia! Everyone was happy, engaging, kind and helpful even though the store didn’t have what i needed, it was such a pleasure to be in that space for the short time i was there! Thank you Ace Hardware of Woodbine!

These guys are great. Service is fantastic, well informed and friendly. I go out of my way to shop here instead of at huge stores like Lowe’s or HD. 99% of the time these guys have what I need, they find it for me quicker, and I don’t have to battle crowds or stand in lines. Shop here for all of your hardware needs.

A throwback to hardware stores of old. This Ace might not have everything a "big box" store has, but what it does have is actual friendly and helpful employees. It reminds me of a local hardware store in a small town with experts who are eager to help and do it with a smile on their face. If I ever need anything hardware related, I check here first. Also, they have a USPS office inside, which is extremely convenient. Keep up the great work Ace Hardware Woodbine!

I want to shoutout Carson the Stihl technician. He was one of the first people I talked to on my first ever trip to an Ace Hardware recently. He was extremely knowledgeable about his craft and gave me an incredible level of time and attention discussing leaf blowers for my lawn care business knowing I would not buy that day. The man had a great energy about him and provided amazing customer service. He made me want to buy a Stihl just for being so kind and I probably will in the near future knowing someone with his level of ability would be there to service it for me if anything happened. I also loved Ace as a whole and will be going back in the near future.

Great employees. Great environment. This is a great place to spend your dollars.

This store has the most amazing employees. I was there this morning to pick up a large item and they tied it to the roof of my car for me. They were patient and helpful and good problem-solvers. I like to give them my business because they have always been extremely helpful to my elderly parents, who live nearby.

Having a local hardware store is fantastic. These folks actually know what they're talking about and take the time to explain things to customers. I will go here over the big box stores any day.

I would personally like to thank Mike (Stihl counter) and the owner for going above and beyond in getting a clutch for my chainsaw. Stihl stated there were none east of the Mississppi. My chainsaw was dropped off mid March and I finally got my repaired saw back this weekend. Thanks Ace Hardware

Great alternative to huge home improvement stores. Staff is always helpful and eager to assist. Lots of unique items you won’t find elsewhere.

This store has a surprisingly abundant assortment of tools, materials, and supplies - and though the prices are frequently higher than the average big box store, the difference in price is oftentimes worth the extra time and gas it would take to get to a big box (Home Depot, Lowe's, etc.) store. Plus, at a big box store, the staff are getting harder to flag down... and may not be as knowledgeable.

Just the right place to look when you need a part quickly, or might need some help getting the right part, the right shade of paint, stone bird seed for your feathered friends, or one a wide array of accessories for your grill!

I love this store! The USPS store in the back is a great convenience. Javier is always cheerful, friendly, and very knowledgeable about his job. I can't go in to the store at all without someone greeting me and asking if I need help finding anything. I'm not sure what happened with the previous poster, but I've been shopping here for the better part of 20yrs, and I've never had a bad experience.

Such a great place to shop for just about everything home related. Knowledgeable and pleasant staff are a refreshing change from the big box home stores!
They also sell and repair Stihl power equipment in-house. Dropped off my poorly running leaf blower at lunchtime, they had diagnosed and repaired it before 3pm!

Great Ace location! Then again, most are. My Dad shopped at Ace n preferred going there as opposed to Homedepot or Lowe's for as long as I can remember. Always friendly, helpful staff. Just a pleasant experience every visit.
