It was a birthday party fir my granddaughter, she picked the place before. eaten there before. They had a table ready for us, the place was really cute, decorated nicely. The food was amazing. Our waitress was phenomenal. Took care of the 10 of us beautifully. Food came out in a timely manner. Just a great experience!

My husband and I went here for our anniversary lunch. He is the pickiest eater I have ever met and he was impressed. I use several other Mexican restaurants in this area and I have found a new favorite! The Pollo Fiesta tasted so fresh. The chicken was super tender and the fresh vegetables were perfect. The fried ice cream was amazing. Everything was great. Nice atmosphere and impeccable service

Hubby took me here for my birthday lunch today. I got these huge jalopenio poppers with my Fiesta Pollo and he ordered the chicken chimichangas today so am adding more pictures. Delicious!

What a great little Mexican restaurant in the center of downtown. I of course had the fajitas as that is all that I have at Mexican restaurants so I can do a real comparing contrast. I would give the fajitas there a seven. Overall, still five stars as my two people that I went with had a chicken salad and another very tasty main entree.

I didn’t expect this place to be as good as Chevy’s. But it is! We ordered the trio fajita: chicken steak and shrimp for 2 and tacos. Best steak and shrimp. Great flavor!
$30 for 2 people. Not a bad price. Tacos were extra $3 for each taco but worth it.

It comes with beans, pico de gallo, cheese, sour cream, guacamole, lettuce and flour tortillas. You also get chips and the salsa is delicious. The salsa is spicy, not recommended for kids or someone who doesn’t eat spicy food.

I highly recommend this place. Will definitely be back! This was a carry out order. Order was ready in 15 minutes.
Worth the drive if you live in The Villages, Mt. Dora or Eustis!

Went for the 1st time with my son's. The food was amazing and I like the large portions being about 210lbs. I was very impressed with the large strawberry margarita drink they had. Best I've had yet. Being a military vet and firefighter never really needed to prove my manhood by a drink. I just drink what I like and it was very good. Will go back again.

Awesome atmosphere and food. Great servers. The outside tables are great. It's so hard to find quality Mexican food. Big portions. You will not go away hungry! Well worth the trip. We will be back.

Delicious! We were a party of 9. Went right when it opened. The rice is great! The kids all devoured the chips and salsa. Very good salsa recipe and the queso was good! Sangria had complementary flavors. Would definitely come again.

David provided excellent and attentive service. I say that because he laughed at my terrible jokes, which means he’s a good sport! I had the Quesadilla Huastecas of which chicken was better than steak, but both were great. Great margaritas and friends made a great evening. Don’t hesitate. This is one of the better Mexican restaurants in the area!

Authentic delicious Mexican cuisine! All fresh and yummy! We have been coming here for years and food is consistently delicious. Wonderful people too!

We did the quesadillas chicken and steak, also hard and soft taco of shredded chicken and ground beef. Everything was very good, quality food. Fast service, good prices.

This place is one of my favorite Mexican places to go, the food is very good, and they get your food out quickly. The staff check up often and are Friendly, I would recommend going here!

Excellent food. Huge portions. We got Tacos, burrito, Taquitoes and enchiladas. The best Pico de Gallo and chorizo and cheese, all melted together. Love the chips and salsa. Huge glasses of drinks, Pepsi, iced tea, sweet and unsweetened. I think they are the best Mexican in town.

Food was delicious. Our server was absent the meal was brought to the table. Never came back to check on our needs or meal. Had to ask for the check.

The food has always been good, the only reason service has been a little slow is everyone is eating there. It can get a little noisy when it's packed.

Great atmosphere, efficient and quick wait staff, the food is delivered so quickly! And, it was delicious.

Service is excellent. The quesadilla grande was amazing. The chimichanga was very tasty. Oh, their margaritas are perfect....they don’t go cheap on the tequila. Highly recommend.

We find that Sol de Mexico is a great go-to place for a casual dinner. We always have a good meal and like the atmosphere. The little outdoor dining area has a European feel with the fountain and flowers.
