Hickory Point Recreation Park

This place has many options to spend the day. if you have little kids the trees over the playground are the best, you can relax while your kid has fun!
There also are tables near to the playground for a good snack time, sand volleyball courts and soccer fields!!

It was a beautiful place, I loved the wheelchair walkway & the playground too. The fishing dock was great.

This is such a lovely place to stop off on the way to/from Orlando if you have the time. Lots of picnic tables and shade, and a lovely boardwalk/fishing pier. Good spot for birdwatching. Wheelchair accessible picnic pavilion. Restrooms, water fountains, small playground area. You can rent space in the large screened in structure for events. This is my new lunch spot whenever I'm in the area, a little shady picnic and birdwatching just a few minutes off the Turnpike.

It was beautiful it was huge it was spacious they was having a catch and release tournament this particular day and it was wonderful we got to bring home at least one fish my friends got five I think the fisherman's caught all the rest lol

So I use my RV to go around the country and I love to eat out and explore new places. This was a very nice place to visit with some friends of ours who had graduation. Played volleyball and walked on the dock with gators around. Very nice park and will definitely be heading back.

When you're fortunate to have beautiful and comfortable weather, this is such an awesome venue! We rented part of the bottom floor, and our party was a huge success. I received a text from the attendant prior to my arrival and she remains on site while the pavilion is rented.

No heat, a/c, fridge, or microwave, so you have to bring everything you need for your event. There are fans to help circulate the air. It was clean and tiny, and there was a sign for our event at the door.

It's a great venue. Bring your fishing pole.

Beautiful park nice two story pavilion the ability to grill inside clean restroom fishing bird watching play ground. That park has a lot going on great place to spend the day or just a quiet picnic with family.

Love the hiking trails! Lots of outdoor activities: boating, volleyball, playground, hiking trails, and soccer. Fun for all ages!

This is a great park to go fishing 🎣, to have birthday parties, family events, to play volleyball, and it kid friendly. You can take some beautiful photos out here too.

Great park with great facilities. A dozen boar ramps, 20 pro volleyball courts, beautiful soccer fields. Relaxing picnic areas and a huge screened pavilion that is rentable.

The pier is great for fishing, launching boats, and taking pictures of the sun set

We did a free class there, the kids loved learning about alligators and when home with a goodie bag that included an alligator book

Really pretty park beside a lake. There's a nice and scenic boardwalk over the wetlands. The playground and park facilities are also nice.

Has plenty of public boats ramps. Sand volleyball, horseshoes, shelter houses, playground , and can cook out on grills ! PUBLIC FISHING & EVERYTHING IS FREE .

A wonderful place to go to walk around,relax while sitting on bench & viewing the water....

WENT TO A WEDDING HERE! IT WAS HELD UPSTAIRS. BEAUTIFUL WEDDING AT A FANTASTIC PLACE!! WELL WORTH LOOKING AT IF YOU NEED A GREAT PLACE FOR A WEDDING, BEEN TO TWO BABY SHOWERS HERE TOO!
