We met for a family dinner and the food was great! The prime rib was bigger than expected, the salad bar was fresh and the sweet potato fries were phenomenal! Super historic with amazing animal mounts. Special pricing for mid week was very affordable.

We just went here to check out the place and dine in the restaurant. Very neat place and historical hotel . We went second floor to just check out the rooms and the guy that was cleaning room was so nice enough to offer us to show Buffalo Bills room ! That was a nice treat from him . Thank you ! Food was great and service was also awesome . We were greated by a wonderful rubber band magician which we enjoyed . I believe he was trying to impersonate Buffalo Bill . We surely enjoyed our stop in this restaurant. We will be back if we get a chance to go back to Cody .

Loved staying there because my daughter and I loved exploring haunted places. A couple of the rooms were supported to be haunted. But unfortunately, we didn't get one of those rooms. But it still was great staying in a hotel that was the old western type place, and was about Buffalo Bill.

What an amazing experience rife with history. If you’re visiting Cody there is no way you can pass this center piece up. We had a wonderful dining experience with some delicious Prime Rib. The buffet is a must with their variety of wonderful gourmet selections. As for the rooms themselves I can not say because we didn’t stay there.

My husband and I arrived during the lunch buffet hours. We were seated immediately. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and professional. I chose ham, roasted mixed vegetables, red skinned mashed potatoes, and bread pudding with whiskey sauce. It was very tasty. My husband had salad, buffalo bites, sloppy joes, roasted mixed vegetables, and red skinned mashed potatoes. I didn't hear any complaints and his plate was empty in the end. The lunch buffet was $14.99 which we felt was reasonable. I very much enjoyed reading about the history and origin of the restaurant and hotel. I also enjoyed the decor.

Very ornate and historic. You can feel the old times still lingering in the air. Great food and service. Buffalo burgers are fantastic and reasonable.

Had Easter brunch with 15 family members . It was a buffet and all the food was delicious. When I got to the prime rib I asked for a end piece because I like my meat well done he cut me apiece that was 4 inches thick. It was done just the way I like it and it was very moist and tender. Everyone of the employees went out of their way to make it a special day. It was well worth the drive from Billings . I would like to do it again only spend more time there.

You can't beat the Irma Hotel if you're in Cody, WY! It has great character and ambiance. We had a huge room with 2 queen beds, antique dresser, table, TV, refrigerator, and pretty large bathroom for a hotel room. There was a sink in the bedroom in addition to the sink in the bathroom! That's a bonus in my opinion! We loved the space. Beds were comfortable, and the a/c and refrigerator worked well. We ate dinner and breakfast at the restaurant, and it too was bragworthy. The food was great, and the decor was amazing with pictures of Buffalo Bill and other notable Cody residents, along with numerous elk, deer, moose, and bull heads along the walls. Also, the beautiful cherry bar gifted to Buffalo Bill by the Queen of England is in the dining room along the wall. I highly recommend you stay here if you can, or at least have a meal there. It's worth it!

We had a wonderful Mothers Day buffet dinner. The dining room was decorated with all things festive and Spring themed. The buffet included many classice and tasty entree's. The staff, as always attentive and friendly. We love The Irma for all its historical and cultural offerings.

So rad! I celebrated my birthday here and stayed in the Buffalo Bill room (#12)! Just awesome! Hotel is so interesting and historical. The cherry wood bar gifted to Buffalo Bill from Queen Victoria is 100% worth the visit.

Service in the restaurant isn't good and the food is poor quality for the price, but I recommend the hotel and experience overall.

This restaurant is a historic landmark located in the heart of Cody, Wyoming. It was built by Buffalo Bill Cody around 1903 and has a one of a kind Bar that was donated by the Queen of England. We ate dinner at the restaurant which offered a great Buffet or you can order off the menu. The Chicken Pot Pie, soup and salad Bar did not disappoint, they were delicious and we couldn’t finish it. They offer an old fashioned shootout in the side street that starts nightly at 6 pm, so eat early and don’t be late for the gunfight.

I visited the restaurant. Buffalo Bill's Irma restaurant is a delightful and authentic experience for history enthusiasts. The restaurant itself is a historical treasure, providing a glimpse into the past. The ambiance and decor transport you to the era of Buffalo Bill and the Wild West. It's a truly enjoyable experience to dine in such a unique and historical setting. Even if you're not specifically visiting for the food, the opportunity to see this historical place is worth it. So, if you're looking for a fun and memorable dining experience with a touch of history, Buffalo Bill's Irma restaurant is a must-visit.

This is a very cool venue.

Very historic and a great place to look around and have a beer.

Went there for supper and the breakfast buffet.

Food is nothing special. Normally pretty busy so expect a wait. A lot better places to eat in the area.

Just stop in for a couple drinks and you’ll love it.

It's down town right on the main street. The rooms are quaint and historical, three floors, no elevator. Great dining area attached, but no free breakfast or vouchers. Be prepared to go back in time.

We came here for Prime Rib on the recommendation of a friend, well, he was not wrong. The Prime Rib here is so, so good, probably the best I've ever had.
So I'll tell you like he told me, get the prime rib, not from the buffet, but actually order it. It is top notch!! The beer was served icy cold, and the servers and staff were friendly and attentive.
Plus the building with all of its history and western architecture and decor, it is experience just to have dinner in this building!
If your in Cody, WY, or even passing through, STOP HERE! You will love it.
Overall Rating ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I will return for the Prime Rib🙂

Prime rib and salad bar buffet was good - $34. Everything is expensive here. In walkable downtown. Bar on front porch.
