Inn at the Shore

Our room, one of the deluxe Oceanside rooms was on the ground floor and had an amazing view of the grasslands between the hotel and the beach. We could walk right out the living room sliding glass door, or the sliding glass door of the front bedroom onto our personal patio that had four chairs. Just a few steps further, across the narrow strip of grass was the Seaside Promenade, a lovely paved path that runs parallel to the beach. Between 9am and 5pm there are four bikes you can check out from the office to ride on the Promenade (they don't allow their bikes on the beach). Just across the Promenade is a trail that leads to the beach through the grasslands. It passes a picnic bench. Campfire are allowed on the beach.

The room has a kitchen (dishwasher, stove top, microwave, full size fridge, and all the basic pots, pans, utensils, and dishes. a The Livingston has fireplace, TV and DVD player. They have a good number of disks that you can check out for free from the office.

There are two separate bedrooms and one full bathroom and one half bath.

This is a beautiful place to stay that we highly recommend.

Really can't say enough about this place. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. They provide everything you need for your stay dishes, toaster, coffee pot. Not to mention a fan and broom/dust pan. I loved the fact they cleaned up while we were out for the afternoon and checked in to see if we needed anything. The first floor rooms have a nice patio to sit on. They even have bicycles available for hotel guests. Definitely recommend this place for a relaxing getaway. Or a quick beach shopping trip.

Recently stayed in the 3rd floor suite and it was exceptional. The views of the ocean were great, the suite was spacious and included a nice fireplace as well. Friendly staff and a clean property. Lots of little extras in the room like a coffee maker, dishes, and it's great watching the sunset from a balcony, highly recommend this place!

Our stay here has been great. The view is excellent facing the ocean, and right at the literal start of the Prom walkway on south end. However, the drawback is that we stayed at ground level and everyone walks that path is right outside our sliding door - feels...not private in that sense. But - you can close your curtains or to enjoy the view just deal with passers-by as just a part of the scene to expect. Check in was super easy and the hotel was awesome about communicating. Room had a fireplace and jacuzzi tub!

Wonderful location right on the beach. Great place to walk down or sit at One of their picnic tables surrounded by sand and beach type plants and shrubs. Amazing service. I'll be back!!

Couches were worn with some noticeable spots. Rug needs washed or removed, other than that we always love coming here!!!!

The 2 queen bed suite was perfect!! The staff was excellent and the rooms were clean and quaint! Will be our first choice when we come back next year!!!

Loved this place! Staff was super friendly, rooms were clean and comfortable. Honestly, much nicer than I expected for the price point. Well worth it!

We had a room a partial ocean view. We could go out on our balcony and enjoy the ocean, just to our right. The fireplace in the room and the ability to borrow dvds from the front office were fun extra touches. We will definitely be back!

We had an amazing stay here in one of their jacuzzi rooms. The service was great, the room was beautiful, and the location was lovely.

Charming, clean and modern rooms. I stayed there in the off season just after thanksgiving. I was on a sabbatical and just wanted a clean space and water views. The rooms was lovely, the balcony and fireplace were great, and there was a dedicated little walkway right onto the beach. It was so peaceful and cozy I ended up extending my stay by 2 nights- and I’ll totally come back! Winter beaches for the win!

Wish we could’ve stayed longer! Seaside is so quaint & a great location for Astoria & Cannon Beach. The staff was WONDERFUL & so accommodating. The rooms were very clean & the view was wonderful. Walked a block to the Osprey Inn for breakfast & it was fabulous!

We were in a Deluxe 2 Bedroom suite with an ocean view. It was very clean and ready for us when we arrived. They had a basket with towels, bowls, and sheets for our dog which was a nice surprise! The person who checked is on was extremely nice and polite. Before arriving the management sent text messages making us feel welcome before we even arrived. The view from our second floor ocean view room is stunning and the sounds of the ocean are so peaceful.

Love this little hotel! It is well decorated and we could see the ocean from our room. The staff is friendly and you feel welcome when you arrive. There is coffee and tea in the room, which I thought was a nice touch as well as silverware and dishes. A home away from home. The only complaint was the room was a bit stuffy with no air conditioning.

I ended up here after getting them recommended as pet friendly and that wasn't an understatement. While the rule about not leaving the dog was a drag, the amazingly thoughtful beach bag of bowls and towels including bed spreads for sandy paws was genius. The fireplace was cozy and the location was perfect for an ocean walk.

Priced well, I wish I had made a loop and ended my day back there but I continued up the coast.

Amazing location, and the right price for a pit stop! We spent two nights here, and loved it. Our room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. We loved that we could walk into town in about 10 minutes along the promenade, and the beach was only about 100 meters away from the hotel. Highly recommend this hotel, and I would gladly return! The front desk staff was lovely, I don't remember her name, but she was super friendly and attentive. Thank you for everything!

Super close to the beach and it won't break your bank, I stayed here two years ago and my boyfriend and I loved it, we're visiting for the day this weekend and that's when I remembered this hotel. The woman that helped us was very kind, the room was beautiful with a deck that you can stare out at the water with a mug of coffee or tea (guilty), not too far of a walk to town with shops and restaurants. I would love to stay here again, pretty minimal in amenities but you're at the beach. You'll stay warm during the colder weather, and we slept like babies.

A great little place to stay! We stayed in a 2 queen partial view room, and when out in the balcony, we were able to watch the sunset and everything. It was beautiful. The staff is super friendly, and they even had a little basket for our dog with bowls and treats and such. The beach was way less busy than the main seaside beach entrance, which we really enjoyed as well. Highly reccomend!

I stumbled on this little gem of a seaside hotel while on a spur of the moment solo trip with my dog and I’m so glad I did. Every single thing about this little place is done with such joy and attention to detail, it’s just not the kind of thing you see very often anymore. Because I was with my dog I chose a ground floor room that opened to a little grassy area big enough I could sit outside on the provided beach chairs and talk to people walking the promenade while my dog enjoyed the grass and sun. The jetted tub was huge, the fireplace was awesome at the end of the day, the doggie gift basket was incredibly thoughtful. Fridge, coffee maker, eating area, quiet location. I felt super safe the entire time as a girl traveling alone - and not just because of the location but because the front desk staff was SO enthusiastically welcoming I really believed them when they said they’d pick up the phone for an after hours emergency. I will come back and I will recommend to anyone who will listen. It’s a perfect, quiet, sweet, clean, friendly, and very affordable beach side getaway
