Ocean Front at Seaside Hotel

We loved our stay at Ocean Front. Decently priced for peek season. Incredible beach views. No AC but you probably won’t need it. We visited during the recent heat wave and were okay. They provided a box fan so we were able to open a window and the circulation was perfect. Room was clean and offered a mini fridge and coffee/hot water maker. The staff were very kind. Seaside was a bustling town and we had so much fun! Sunset on the Pacific Ocean was BEAUTIFUL. I had never seen that before. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. Thank you Ocean Front!

We went on a week long vacation without any destinations or anywhere to be. We ended up in Seaside and talked to a few hotels before we liked the person on the phone here. We stayed there for 3 nights. The staff are awesome! All of the staff were very friendly, very accommodating, very easy to work with and talk to, and best of all, very helpful when asked for food recommendations or things to do. The staff made sure we were taken care of for sure. The room was clean and it is very comfortable and spacious. If I could give it 10 stars I would!! Thank you for the pleasant stay.

Staying at this motel was very nice! It is a no-frills place but it appeared to be well kept. The room was very clean and everything looked as advertised. The rooms have a pleasing aesthetic featuring wooden ceilings and fairly fresh blue paint. The ocean view was beautiful and romantic.

Checking in was pretty typical and easy, and the attendant was very friendly. Overall I can easily recommend this motel to anyone who is looking for a beautiful view on a budget!

The updated rooms are very nice, cozy, and with comfortable beds. The location is great, right on the prom with ocean views and an easy walk to everything.

Love this place people working are very nice. Hotel roomes are clean. Broadway to small shops close.

Check in was quick and easy. Got in around 8pm, very friendly staff. The rental had two beds, a queen in a room. With an ocean front view, and a queen in a separate room facing the parking lot. Bathrooms were small but fine. Worst parts of the stay were the towels were not very absorbent and the bed sheets were pretty thin. Also noted that the rooms havld a box fan, but seems to lack a proper air conditioning unit, so may be pretty hot during the warmer months.

Clean, comfortable and amazing views of the ocean! Service was excellent. Walking distance to everything downtown Seaside has to offer. Room was quiet and the fan placed in the window for cooling worked well on the warm evening. Next time, we'll get the corner room for double the view!

The view was incredible! I actually wanted to stay in the room and just watch the surf. It's the perfect mix of quirky and fantastic. All the staff was top notch. Really appreciated the real coffee mugs for the keurig.

While it's true that there are a few outdated things...baseboards, etc, it's very obvious they care about their guests, and the wear is typical for the coast.
The only thing I could complain about is the room temp. It was a bit too warm the first day. There is a small window to open and they provided a big fan in the room so that took care of it.

Our experience at Oceanfront was amazing. The view was gorgeous. The staff was so welcoming.
Our car broke down in the parking lot after check out. The staff were all so helpful and made sure we were ok. I recommend staying here. It was so nice. I loved the time we spent here... Tracie and Marc B.

Stayed here October 2022. Hopefully it continues to be a well well kept secret on the coast. Very clean, very courteous accommodating staff. Beautiful beach view! The only thing that separates this place from the beach is a sidewalk. Loved it. Returning this summer

I booked at this motel for it's location and price, knowing it wasn't a 5 star motel. After reading some of the prior reviews I started questioning my choice. But there wasn't any way to change motels now. I packed plenty of disinfectant wipes and bug spray and prepared for the worst. But when I got here I was totally amazed. The room was really nice and clean. The staff was courteous and professional. One evening I did hear some noise from another room, but it stopped well before any noise curfew. One disappointment was the lack of a freezer. I was here for a week and purchased food that needed to be frozen before I realized there wasn't a freezer. No big deal, the room and the view more than made up for it. I would definitely stay here again.

Awesome location, right on the promenade and next door to the aquarium. Staff was very accommodating. Room was a little small, but had a great view of the beach. I will stay there again if I ever get the chance to return to Seaside!

This hotel is always our choice to stay at when we visit every 6 months. The ocean view room with balcony we receive is a must. The staff is very professional & customer service is always excellent.

Best value for the location. You're right on the beach and a block from all the shops and restaurants. Don't let the outside of the motel discourage you, all the rooms have been remodeled and are immaculate. Rooms have a microwave, a good size fridge, a kuerig style coffee maker, and a large flat-screen TV. Connecting rooms are an option for families. Bathrooms are spacious with stand up showers and hair dryers. This place doesn't have AC but with the temps rarely getting above 70s - you don't really need it. Just open a window and let the cool ocean breeze in. They have fans at the front desk if you request one. They even have a fish cleaning station if you need one (also doubles as a foot washing station so you don't track sand in your room). Free parking (may not work if you have a towable) and front desk service is friendly and extremely accommodating. We were so impressed that we decided to extend our stay. Great family run business.

This is my 2nd time staying here and i just love this place. It might not look the best on the outside but it is nice on the inside. It is very clean, and has great customer service. I love the idea and privacy of a separate bedroom in the motel room when staying with multiple people. Best of all the beach is right there! View is amazing. To top it all off the price is very much affordable compared to the other places around there. Thank you for our stay! 😊

Although there was some miscommunication on check in time and pet policy, which was frustrating, I am extremely grateful at how helpful the staff in the office were. They worked with us and were able to get us a full refund with no notice from us for having to cancel. I appreciate their understanding and effort to keep customers happy and willing to book with them again.

I stay here every year when I go to Seaside. It's a little dated, but you can't beat the price or the view. Being on a fixed income, I appreciate the fact that I can afford to visit. I stay in a specific room and love the very firm mattress.
You have your usual amenities shampoo, conditioner, lotion and soap. They also leave a couple of bottles of water on arrival. I have never had a problem with cleanliness in my room.
They do have rooms with a range top, sink, pots and pans and dishes if you would like to save money and cook in your room. The microwave, fridge and coffee maker (with a packet of coffee, cream, sugar ect.) is all I need in the room I stay in. Judy in the office is so sweet. I always enjoy visiting with her. She is truly a gem. It's my home away from home, and I am always counting down the days until I get to visit Seaside again.
