You won’t be disappointed with stopping in for your coffee fix here! Justin knows how to roast coffee right! Very knowledgeable and coffee tastes as it should no burnt beans here. We stayed in Seaside for a week and are so happy to discover Burly and the Bean! Definitely will be our regular shop when we visit! My husband and I are both very particular about our coffee and of everything I tried here I was not disappointed, not even once! Justin and Vanessa are fantastic and I’m so excited to have a place to get great coffee on our vacations now!

This place is really good! The owners are very sweet and the drinks are great. They have a nice selection, even horchata. There is also a really cute plant store next door to this place. A good shop if you need to do some quick laptop work and make some work calls and enjoy a coffee, I would highly recommend!

Traveling through Seaside, and of course we stopped at our favorite coffee shop Burly and the Bean. Owners Justin and Vanessa are awesome folks who really know their coffee beans and they make wonderfully satisfying hot or cold coffee drinks, as well as Chai and other offerings.

A portion of the shop is dedicated to an interesting collection of crafts for sale. You can find local crafts and local honey; gently used vintage items and also some select merchandise from Latin America. Another section of the shop hosts live music on occasion. Check their FB page for events!

Stop in and say "hello" the next time you're craving an excellent java, a sweet cookie treat or need to pick up a gift for a friend. You'll love Burly and the Bean!

So totally have to rave on this place. BURLY & THE BEAN COFFEE ROASTERS. This is probably THE BEST coffee you will find locally. Locally roasted here and everything. I picked up the Guatemalan Gold blend with chocolate , carmel, orange, and lemon hints that The Chaulkboard Cafe where I work sells which is why I came here. I also ordered, and I don't remember what coffee drink I got but it's notes of cherry and chocolate and OMG, SO GOOD 😊! Not over powered sweet, or kick you in the face sugar like Starbucks or ANY other local coffee shops for that matter around that I've found anyways. Locally grown organic salt free spice blends that I picked up, smells amazing 😍 will probably make my own from this blend but it's great to know they have it and many trinkets through out. Atmosphere is coZy and inviting. Love it here.

Burly and the Bean is one of those places I never gave a lot of mind as I passed by it every day. It just didn’t seem very appealing and there are a ton of coffee options in Seaside. I am writing this to say I was wrong.

Since coming in for the first time on a whim, it has quickly become one of my favorite coffee shops. I love the “La Pistola” mocha and the owners are great. Their drinks have a creative flair and some have a Vietnamese element which looks intriguing. And while I haven’t been yet, I’m looking forward to their live music evenings. They also have a coffee roasting experience that looks like fun.

As a frequent reviewer on here, I will admit to consciously not reviewing some places I really like because I don’t want them to get ‘discovered’ and too busy. But this place deserves everyone to know about it. Swing by and try it out. I’m sure you’ll like it!

Vanessa was welcoming and the drinks top notch. Plenty of comfortable seating and eclectic decor with merchandise from local artists. Stop by for some hospitality.

What a cute and cozy coffee house! Love Sam and Cocoa (the cat), best Lotus drink I have ever had you must try the pink drink. The atmosphere of this shop is amazing.

What an amazing coffee shop and couple who owns it. Wish we could stay longer so we can come back every morning and check out their music nights. We had the Iced Vietnamese, a Going Nuts, and the cheddar chive biscuits and gravy. The coffee is the best we've ever had! It's super smooth with no bitterness. If you are in the Seaside area and want to support an amazing small business, this is a must stop.

Great spot for an afternoon pick me up. Owners are friendly and the coffee is wonderful.

Stopped in with my sister on our way back into town for a quick coffee pick-me up— the service was amazing and overall such a cute spot to stop :)

Our car broke down and was in a shop nearby. The staff let us stay and hangout the whole day. They were incredibly kind and accommodating. The food was great and so was the coffee. Very pretty art and comfortable vibes.
I cannot praise them enough for their kindness and hospitality.

What a treasure! 6 of us went for coffee and light breakfast this morning and were greeted by the very friendly owners, Burly and Vanessa. The breve was spot on, delicious. La Pistola was on point. We all enjoyed the eclectic decoration and items for sale. I bought a freshly roasted bag of Guatemalan beans and just made an espresso with them at home and they are very good. We'll definitely be back and hope to see some live music there too.

Biscuits and gravy. Sam and coco (her small black cat) are very nice! Overall great experience. Their sweets selection is very good as well. Good yea too!

Run by the nicest people, Burly and the Bean is a confluence of music, culture, and great coffee. We had the nicest conversation with the people there, who gave us recommendations for places to see and things to do on our drive up the coast. Great vibes in there, definitely stop in!

Very good coffee served by good people in a cool space. Loved seeing the local music venue they've setup since moving. We always stop in to get coffee in Seaside from them.

Came to the shop late. Made me a great latte. Local family.

Recommended clean lines boards hop to get a new pair of shorts. Which are awesome too.

You must 100% try their Mochas and my favourite one is Cappuccino.
