Best pasta in southern illinois hands down! Great friendly owners, serving up some phenomenal pizza and pasta. Make sure you try their meatballs huge and flavorful!

Family owned finally back from vacation. Always wants to serve customers. I called 5 minutes before opening and they wanted my order and still not opened yet. A family company asking to take the order before opening now that is customer service.

Ate there today for 1st time and by far the Best Italian here in Southern Illinois. We had the Pizza and Calzone. Will be going back...Love me some Good Italian Food!

We were visiting from out of town and were told we had to try their food! Everything was amazing from the Baked Tortellini to the Pizza Pasta! You won't be disappointed!

First time visiting, and we really liked the pizza. My fiance says "I feel like I'm biting into my childhood"! The turnaround was super quick and the people we interacted with were warm, polite, and welcoming. Great little place, my only downside were the bread sticks, they were basic dough and generic. If they used the pizza dough to pull out bread sticks (like Pizza King) in house I doubt I would ever go anywhere else! We are very excited to try their pastas next time we come!

Just about the BEST Italian food I’ve ever eaten. And I’ve been around a while.😉 Pasta and marinara exquisite!! Meatballs…off the chain!!! Pizza is absolutely delicious! Salads super fresh and crisp. House dressing one of the best I’ve ever tasted! The owners are so very inviting and sincere. Every time I’m in town, it’s a “must visit”!!

I have lived in Southern Illinois since 1986 and just discovered this place. The pizza is absolutely the best I have ever had. I cannot wait to return and try some of their other dishes. If you are traveling through and don't mind a 10 minute drive off the interstate you have to stop and get some! I wish I would have discovered this place sooner!

Authentic, family owned, Italian food. Best pesto sauce I have ever tasted! Calzones, sandwiches, salads and pizzas were absolutely delicious!!! Food coma delish lol. Small restaurant, so if it's busy, it is worth ordering to go!!!! This will definitely be a repeat spot we visit, when we return to Lake Egypt!

The ham and cheese sandwiches are absolutely delicious! I have to stop myself from getting one for lunch every single day 😀

The food was really good. Their meat sauce they serve with their garlic cheese bread is soooo good. I was putting it on my pizza. I will definitely recommend and come back.

My favorite pizza in southern Illinois. From the crust and sauce to the in-house sausage it is hard to go wrong. Price is also great. While I do not order the pasta dishes often all have been tops. No delivery and closed on Saturday.

It was our first time there and we will be back. Everything was great.

The family that runs the business is lovely. Salad is good. The pizza is excellent. But the star is the pesto. I would drink it out of an old shoe. It is why I will be back again and again.

Pizza was delicious! Crust is perfect if you don't like thick heavy crust, sauce was amazing. Only thing that confused me is that it was my first time in resturant and there were menus at the tables so we sat and no waitress came to table so I asked another diner and they told me I had to go to front to order. Other than the ordering process was a tad confusing I will definetly order pizza again.

If you really want good pizza if you really want good pasta or something a little in between I would definitely recommend mimmo's this place rocks. They have some of the best pizza I have ever had in a long time I would rate them higher than I would Papa John's Papa Murphy's even Domino's and Pizza Hut these guys from Mom and Pop shop Rock they know how to make the food delicious and with love.

I came in today and the place were decorated with Italian symbolic all over the place which I thought it very resemble to a what a pizza restaurant should look like. I ordered a meatball pizza and it tasted very fresh,authentic and all the spices and seasoning in my mouth was just exploded with joy and happiness. The pizza was absolutely delicious. I could tell the pizza maker took great pride and love in making a great Italian pizza. I would recommend people to come to this fantastic place. I drove 65 miles from my hometown in Metropolis to eat at Mimmo's.

The baked spaghetti was wonderful. I love the tiramisu, definitely a favorite. Mimmo's has a nice homey feel and the selection of menu items is good. Friendly staff and great service.

I love the owners(Dario and Francesca); they make me feel like I am eating at home. And food is delicious, real Italian. I worked 30 years in Italian restaurants, but this one is authentic, the real thing. The prices are reasonable and all the food cooked there is done so with absolute caring to give the customers the best.
