Simplot Sports Complex

Great complex to not only watch soccer and baseball, but weather watch too! Unobstructed views of the sky while you hang on to your hat in the perpetual 30 mph wind!

We spend a lot of time here with 2 kids in soccer. Overall the grounds are always well maintained and the layout it pretty organized.

My son had Farwest regional soccer tournaments there in July; the parking lot was dusty, but otherwise port-a-potty everywhere with sink water and soap stations outside that was really nice ; stuff ready to help Everywhere, medical team you name it ; tournaments very well organized

Awesome sports complex for kids. A suggestion I would like to make is to add north, south, east, west directions to the maps posted around the park. Another suggestion would be to add a pin showing where in the park you currently are standing. During COVID there are spectator restrictions. Only a certain number of spectators per team are allowed. It will change of course. We must be flexible. The paved path wandering through the complex is good for wheeled access and for keeping the ground cover strong in terms of erosion.

2.5 weeks of Western Soccer. I was really impressed how they got people to parking and the 1 way streets blocked and moved when needed. Fields were in great shape, especially for how many games in a short period they had. Tourney officials and the work crew.had really good rapport and worked well together.

Parking is interesting try to prepare before coming to know where to coming for your kid games.

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL FIELDS FOR ANYTHING!!! BE IT SOCCER,BASEBALL, A PRACTICE ETC. OR EVEN A GOOD WALK OR JOG AROUND THE PARK. DEFINITELY WORTH CHECKING OUT HERE!!!

Great little recreation area. Soccer games most Saturdays, so be advised: there's usually no parking when there's a sports event taking place. The playground has that nice, rubbery padded surface; it looks like wood chips, but they must soak the chips in some kind of compound. When the park is empty, it's perfect for flying your drone. There's lots of little obstacles to fly under and around, like a slalom course or something. There's food/groceries/gas right up the street, too. I like it there.

Over 2 dozen soccer fields for hosting local, regional and national events. Adequate parking on gravel lots. In Southeast Boise.

It's a great soccer complex. I'm always grateful for it when we play at other complexes.

Great venue for a soccer tournament. Nice fields and grass in good condition

Very large park with many soccer fields, little league baseball fields. Lots of walking greenbelt paths, very quite and peaceful when sporting activities are finished. Has a playground for smaller kids. Would be a great place if the city could open another fireworks event for this part of town.

This is the place that I tell people where I was taken to be tortured by my parents! But honestly these fields have been taken very well care of! I love when my daughter plays here, it reminds me of the old days, but more than that, I don't have to worry about injuries and so easily accessible. If I had any complaints, it would be there are not enough signs, that are current, for the fields that are there.

Very nice sports complex. The fields are very well maintained. The restrooms are clean. The parking and layout is well designed for baseball, soccer and other misc field sports.

Very awesome place to take the pups to, The only issue is that there's signs that clearly says No Dog's but it's a perfect spot to go to in the off season of sports. I've been going there's for a few months and have yet to get harassed by the Maintenance guys. Just make sure that you pick up after you're dogs no one likes to step in a steamie pie of 💩... 🤐 Lol

#Mr Simplot said to me when I suggested to him that it would be lovely too have a proffesional complex in the capital of Idaho when all the world cup nations could play and also train with Idaho taking the lead in this great country The U S of A. and in doing so show just how special Idaho is and not a bunch of spudbashers.
