The wait was over 30 minutes. But it's worth the wait. Loved the gift shop, the cat patio. (Some cats lounging around the front patio area) All the carved woodwork makes for amazing photo opportunities. Next time, we will check out the museum right next door.
The food was delicious, and a beautiful cabin with fireplace. We will definitely be making this a stop before we head to the coast for now on.

We stop here on the way in and out of seaside every time we go!! The whole family loves the food, and the kids love to look and see how many cats they can find outside! There's always a couple laying around.. If you have the chance to get outside and roam around it's so pretty! There's a creek out back to play in or around, and lots of old timber machinery to check out. The log building is absolutely beautiful!! ❤

Like lots of other people we've driven by this place dozens of times, but never had a reason to visit until today - and we were very pleasantly surprised! The building is a huge log cabin with great logging-related decor inside. The service was fast and super-friendly and the food was good too! There's also all sorts of interesting old giant logging machinery rusting outside, it would be fascinating for kids of the right age, although you aren't allowed to enter or climb on anything.

Beautiful place, a gigantic but cozy cabin, In general, everything around the cabin is a trip to the past. super nice staff! The food is absolutely amazing, everything we ordered was delicious, it was like cooked with your grandparents' recipe. Don't miss the cinnamon roll! totally worth it!.

5s across the board! This place is stunning. I had the best breakfast of my life here, their gravy puts all others to shame. Food was amazing, tons of friendly staff and servers and the atmosphere and aesthetic inside and outside is beautiful. After you eat, there is practically a museum worth of history around the property outside and there is tons of nature and wildlife in the creek. A must stop!

So I was at Camp18 for the Pacific Model Loggers Congress. Was there from 8:30a to 5pm.

1. Amazing cinnamon rolls, get everyone highly recommends and my son said there was no doubt.
2. The conference space is great for the group I was there for. We had vendor tables, presentation area, displays. 75-100 people would max fit for it.
3. Lunch. Wow, just wow. I had a rib eye and side salad. (I am a diabetic). And they did a great steak, cooked nicely and was able to extra veggies instead of carbs.
4. The building is amazing. The ridge beam is HUGE!!!! But lets be honest all of the old school, cool school logging equipment on the property is great. I think my son and I spent an hour just walking around looking at things. So much so we missed the closing of the giftshop.

A kind request: for the conference area it would be nice to have access to Wi-Fi. Would have liked to post event images and comments. There is no Verizon Cell service there, so counldn't use that.

I really liked this restaurant in the middle of nowhere. The history of the logging industry was interesting, and the nature walk by the water and through the woods was awesome. It reminded me of when I was a kid.

We really enjoyed our lunch at Camp 18 today. There was no wait to get a table and the atmosphere was very nice and relaxing. The server was awesome, and the food was really good. The prices were a bit high, but considering where they are located, it was reasonable. The portions were really big too, so that was nice. The building and decor were amazing and a real step back in time. It was like having lunch inside a museum! The gift shop was cute, but pricey. There are a lot of cool old logging and railroad equipment on display outside, which provided for a nice after lunch stroll. We really recommend this place as a nice meal destination.

Whole menu is all about home-cooked food. I got the beef stew which came with a huge piece of cornbread and butter. The stew tasted good exactly like I'd imagine it would coming from a home kitchen. Cinnamon rolls were enormous and delicious. Server allowed us to go downstairs and check out the room there. All around great place, great food, and great ambiance.

Our family has eaten at Camp 18 and it’s always a joy. Added to breakfast this time was a huge cinnamon roll that we all loved. Top marks for this destination.

The cinnamon roll was sooo delicious! The restaurant also had a cool interior and I also loved looking at all the old machinery & carvings they had around the place.

Yesterdays visit to Camp 18 solidified it as one of my all time favorite hidden gems.
It was the first time I was able to visit during Christmas season and enjoy the lovely decorations.
As always, we were quickly seated and served. I enjoy the clam chowder (add a bread bowl if you’re extra hungry or just love bread!) and sharing my husbands chilli burger and onion rings. They are Al fabulous.
And the giant Cinnamon roll with a cup of coffee by the fireplace topped it all off as a perfect afternoon.

Come for breakfast anytime before 2 PM or lunch/dinner after 11 AM.
Family friendly or perfect for a date.

The only reason i marked 3 on service is because they are short staffed and it took a little longer for service. For was great. Free walking museum on the property. Old logging camp that is super cool.

My wife and stopped in here on our way home from the beach and boy! Are their Cinnamon rolls (with raisins)HUGE. We took that home after sampling a part of it and split the special. Which was the Cinnamon roll french toast combo, which included bacon, sausage and 2 eggs. That wad very filling. We both can strongly recommend this place for the whole family. You definitely get your money's worth

After getting together with my best friend for our 45th consecutive New Year’s day. This year at Saddle Mountain, we decided on lunch at Camp 18. Excellent meal and a playful server, we had a great time. The atmosphere is very unique and inviting. If the opportunity comes around will definitely go here again.

Stopped in for lunch on our way back from the coast. Driven by this place probably a hundred times but never stopped until today. Good was great as expected. Felt like they were shorthanded. It was Sunday just after lunch and not much staff. There were tables available but a lot of folks waiting to be seated. We grabbed a table in the bar which only had one other occupied table. Seemed like our server was often helping in other parts of the restaurant so unavailable to us. Will go back and try again someday but this stop involved a lot more waiting than one would expect for it not being super busy.

The club and BLT were pretty good. I prefer higher quality bread but the bacon was thick and tasty. Nice for after a long hike. The fries and especially the cinnamon roll were incredible. I generally go for a cinnamon roll with a tighter roll and assumed this one would be bready but no. It was so gooey and delicious. I was dreading the size of it but now I am glad to have more for later. I see now why it’s alway so busy whenever I drive by.
