Very large and clean facility. Friendly bartender and the steak sandwich was wonderful. Drinks are a great price and can't wait to visit again.

Merrill, Wisconsin's brand new VFW Post has been a long time coming, almost too long, but it has been worth the wait. The building is beyond beautiful. It has a large hall. The bar is a very generous size. Parking is ample. And now they are able to offer food! Come here for your next Friday Night Fish Fry or any other day of the week for some tasty vittles. Check website for times before you go. ❤

Really nice, new building. The poor man's Cajun fish was delicious. So good, we returned on Saturday for the prime rib, which was also delicious! We had a great time talking with the bartender, cook, and customers. We'll definitely stop in again when we're in the area.

We ordered fish frys as a take out. There was a large portion of food for a very reasonable price. The food was excellent and service was also. I will definitely be ordering again.

We recently lost my father and our family had his celebration of life there. The building, and the staff are so beautiful. From the bartender's to management everyone was so helpful, nice, patient, and sympathetic to our loss. 5 stars all day. Thank you so much again 💕

A little bingo to cap off a Sunday at the VFW. Great atmosphere, good food and the games were fun flawlessly. Highly recommended

Waitress was very friendly and personable. The food was delicious. Only issue I had was the walleye I ordered had not been deboned. I know it's walleye, but when the majority of the customers are older they may end up lodging one in their throat. That's the only concern I have.

To start this review I would like to thank the people who have served our country! thank you for all you have done, the food here is fantastic I personally will be coming here more often I normally don't do that with places like this but I can't get enough of this wonderful food and the service is like family the staff is very friendly and go above and beyond, the location is somber but beautiful and gives the atmosphere a lively community feel, the fish fry is wonderful the last bite is just as wonderful as the last, the cheese curds are better than any fair curds

I wish more people would know about this place. The food is great. I was there on a Saturday night and had the prime rib. The people who work there are very friendly. I think this is where we will eat on Saturday when they are open. It is the new VFW,

Went for the Friday Fish Special. Nice size pieces of fish with excellent flavor and temperature. As an aside, choose the fri wedges and creamy coleslaw. Very good! Service was prompt and friendly; facility clean. Pleasantly surprised.

Went for Sunday brunch. Was very good. I asked the waitress for more dark meat of chicken
She came back and said legs and WINGS were dark meat. (That's what the chef said) LMAO I told her wings are white meat. So that was the only flaw. No dark meat awesome chicken tho! Friendly service!

Very clean. Bathroom is well stocked for kids and woman’s needs. Very bubbly bartender. The chicken dinner looked phenomenal! Awesome crowd with amazing stories. Support the vets!

Wonderful people there. Showed me around, lots of pictures on the walls, some that were taken for the Honor Flights and others that were drawn. Great food and service, it was a great musician that played last night, awesome new building with a good amount of acreage as well. Our Veterans definitely deserve this place!!!!

Beautiful new building. Food was good and the server was wonderful. Overlooked place when thinking about getting a bite to eat, but well worth your consideration. Sunday bunch and Friday fish fry's are available.

We went to see the band "2 Miles South" and had a great time. Once word gets out about this place, I believe that it's going to be an entertainment hotspot. A huge hall, lots of seating, a big stage and a big dancefloor. A really cool place to be for those winter weekend evenings.
