We are from the east coast of Florida and rarely have small places like this anymore. The gentleman there making our food was very friendly and cooked our food accordingly. Waited about 10 minutes for our burgers and fries to be cooked. Food could have used some seasoning but you can’t cook it that way for everyone. Overall was hesitant to go but definitely worth our decision to try it. Owner has been there 44 yrs

Service was phenomenal, I arrived moments before closing but was not given any issues as I was treated with respect and shown utmost professionalism. Will definitely be returning!

A really cute drive in, old fast food, burger joint here in hampton bays. They have sundaes, hard ice cream, shakes, and some comfort food. Whether you're drunk and need hangover food or just dessert because you forgot to order at dinner, this is the place! The cashier was super nice, she recommended sprinkles, nuts, whipped cream for my sundae 😀 love the customer service, nice to see people that are actually helpful and encouraging

My Dad's leash broke while surfing Ponquogue beach and we saw the sign for "surf shop" - went in to the little shack in the back and got a leash, then had lunch! They have good old greasy snack bar food and milk shakes among other things. All the fried seafood is tastey. Maybe a little expensive but cannot complain. Will be back for lunch if I'm surfing and in the mood for it

So glad we stopped here, haven’t been since I was in high school. The food is so good, highly suggest the fried chicken and onion rings but honestly it was all good. I don’t like crinkle fries but even their crinkle fries were crispy and delicious. Butter pecan shake for the win! Staff was awesome, we will definitely be going back. Thank you!!

If you are a true long islander you know the best spots, grew up here as a kid, minigolf in the back that CAN NEVER CHANGE, leave everything the way it is. The food still taste the same from when I was a kid. Always get the scallop basket when I go. Absolutely love and cherish every moment at this place !!! Nothing but good times in Hampton Bayssss

Place is absolutely awesome! Food is always comes to order and delicious. The bees like to come here too. But they will share the food with you.

The best!! A magical outdoor dining venue! Come for the great fries, tacos, burritos, burgers and fried local flounder sandwiches. Stay for the mini golf and ice cream. An escape from the every day!

Great food! This is NOT a chain and don't expect chain treatment. The wait may be long, especially when there are crowds, but I'd put Slo-Jacks against any other burger place out there. All food is prepared as ordered and you know that you aren't getting a precooked item that is only getting reheated. It isn't bargain basement pricing but the food isn't bargain basement either. Their menu is very varied, far beyond the expected burgers and weenies, although I haven't tried the burritos or tacos. I've driven by in the winter months and wished they were year round, but I'll take what I can get!

Hidden gem, this place is. Been here 20 years and I'm a first timer! Brought my daughter, grandson,10, and granddaughter, 8, for lunch at 1......and stayed till 4.30!
Bridgitte was wonderful, serving up best fish n 🍟 chips.....and ice cream 🍦 😋. Then we played mini golf.

Local gem that has withstood the test of time. The burgers are the star and the fries are consistently fresh & crispy. Get the cheese dip, grab a milk shake, and don't sleep on the seafood. They sell hats and T shirts too!

Great place, brings you back in time! Nostalgia. Great hot, made to order food. Awesome shrimp and scallops with a vanilla shake. Sooo good! A+ A+

Food good! Don't ever play miniature golf there!!!! Hasn't been updated in about 40 years. Place is falling apart mold and moss all over the holes. Just disgusting

Have been going here for 20 years, Staff may have changed, But the place has always been great classic Grease pit feel with a variety of food from seafood to burgers to Burritos and chicken

Bacon cheeseburger was excellent and fries were perfectly crispy. This is a great place to stop!
