Citarella Gourmet Market - East Hampton

A very cute, quaint, busy grocery store. All the workers were friendly(bilingual). I did see take pictures of the bakery.

Simply the best. I’ve never found a market with such high quality everything. The staff are friendly and I’ve never been disappointed even with their premade dishes. Try the chunky mashed potatoes and ready to eat creamed spinach.

The food quality, presentation and quantity for a gathering of 20 was perfect. The event was a success! I’ll use them for all my gatherings.

Bethenny was wrong. The chicken salad is incredible. Get both the plain and curry ones and mix them together!

Gourmet food platters that cost far less than restaurant prices. My favorite: Salade Niçoise
Few restaurants make it. Runner up: Cauliflower Rice (with shiitake mushrooms) And I don’t even like cauliflower!

Very up market grocery shopping. Best fresh veggies, fish, meats ,& pasta. Large breakfast and lunch at a hot bar. No staples for sale.

Laid-back, casual eatery with delicious food! Get the almond-crusted flounder sandwich with some tasty fries! And a frosty glass of pinot grigio on the side!

I saw this grocery store chain several times driving from Islip to Montauk. I was unfamiliar with the brand being from North Carolina. We stopped for lunch and the hot bar selection and cold prepared items was very good.

It is hard to find a grocery store on the hampton with all ready food to eat their sandwiches are delicious. I love to come here for my shopping needs. But everthing is pricey

I love citarella. Covid changed ordering sandwiches made fresh. But the hot food is good.if I want a sandwich I go somewhere else.

The butcher shop here is excellent and our go to in EH. Their seafood/produce selection is also great, specifically we love the Dole Tropical Gold pineapples that we can find here (the best)!! Some prices are really high (flowers) but I’ve found for the items we buy here, that the quality is worth it.

Always fresh. Always best quality. Pricey but worth it.

Expensive, but high quality food.

On our way out to Montauk we stopped in for something quick to eat on the road. There were a lot of great choices in the cashiers kept the line moving.

I could spend hours (and thousands of dollars) carefully browsing each and every aisle of this place. It's basically an upscale grocery store with a neighborhood feel. Located smack in the middle of East Hampton Village, it's location is super accessible. Parking can be a major pain in the summer, so consider taking an Uber.

Citarella is the epitome of excellent quality, service and very fair prices.
Since August 2018 I have been Waiting for Corporate decision to start participating with Long Island Harvest to have foods donated to East Hampton food pantries. This would make Citarella a respected member of our community by giving back to the needy residents.

I love this place, staff is always helpful and friendly, prepare food is delicious and fresh made, flowers are beautiful for all occasions. Everything is fantastic 👏

Prices are what you get, they may be high for normal people but the quality is worth the price. Also they have a good hot buffet, salad ,bar ,soups, and a great grill with excellent food.
