Holiday Inn Express & Suites Chanhassen, an IHG Hotel

We only stayed one night here just passing through while traveling but the room was very good. No complaints. Breakfast was good. Shower was fantastic. I did utilize the fitness center. Treadmill worked great. The only thing is I don't think the spa, water slide and pool are working. We looked in there and the pool was dirty and there were signs the spa and water slide were closed. But we weren't planning to use them anyway.

I had a great stay everything was very clean. I thought the location was great, I it was really next to a lot of parks and close to my work. If you’re looking for some thing with a lot of options for eating out, maybe this is not the right location I do think that the place had a great breakfast, I did see a lot of business, people and families traveling. Honestly, I am shocked how nice it was and it was a very seamless experience. I’m very grateful to have stayed there.

Extremely comfortable bed, amazing pillows and the best water pressure/temp I've ever had in a shower.

I was bummed that the pancake machine and the hot tub were both out of order but otherwise it was a great stay.

The parking lot was pretty beat up with potholes, but once you got into the hotel it was great.

Will definitely be on our short list of stay-cation locations! We were at a different hotel in Shakopee and it was a disaster... so bad that we left after 1 night when we had prepaid for 2. We called Holiday Inn and the GM Jesse went out of his way to take care of us and get us in on short notice on a holiday weekend. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Things like fruit bowls around the hotel we're a nice touch. The breakfast was very good and we really appreciated the fact you had gluten-free muffins. My 8 year old with a wheat allergy isn't used to having stuff like that he can eat at hotels and was excited. The water slide was a lot of fun as well. Thanks so much, I'm sure we'll be back later this year.

Great place to stay. Made 2 room reservations as my sister and husband from out of town also needed room. Needed room early. They were so good at working to prepare our rooms so we could get to wedding. So appreciated. Kerig coffee maker, fridge and microwave. Good bed. Small area to get pop, water, snacks.
The breakfast the next morning very good. It is a great location with restaurants and stores nearby.

Clean, quiet and Friendly staff. The breakfast buffet opened on time and was kept stocked. Fun pool for kids. The gym is small but has a bike, treadmill, elliptical and a TV.
Would recommend and stay here again if in the area.

This room is very clean and has nice comfy soft beds. I think I was most excited they have Dove products. It's what I use daily!

Stayed here for a couple nights. The room was remodeled and looked very nice. The lamps, however, did not all have bulbs in them. The bathroom and shower was not as nice as the room itself. The paint on the ceiling could have used some touch ups, but it definitely was squeaky clean. All in all had a good stay :)

We want to steal the bed! We were told that all the mattresses were replaced when the hotel came under new ownership. They made the right choice, they are super comfortable. Better than the new one we bought less than a year ago.
The staff is ultra accommodating, its like staying in a 5 Star without the high price.
Always very clean. We stay here whenever we are in Chanhassen.

Stayed here for a few nights for work and everything was great. Beds were comfy, breakfast was a nice spread, wifi was free, and there were fresh baked cookies at night. My room did have a window overlooking the indoor pool which has a waterslide. The pool happened to be under maintenance when I was staying here, but for a while the slide was on and I imagine that if a bunch of kids were playing in the pool their voices may echo and be annoying if your room is against the pool. The waterside made a pretty good white noise though, so it may kind of mask it.

We had a wonderful experience. My family had an extended stay and it was perfect. Amy(manager) went out of her way to make sure we had a great stay. Entire staff was so welcoming. Pool was perfect for all ages. We will definitely return. Thank You Thank You.

When I go back to the cities to spend time with family; Holiday Inn Express Chan is my home away from home. I am a huge fan of the General Manager and never have a bad room. I’ve even spent a very lonely COVID Christmas there with only a few other guests in the hotel and the service was great! I am looking forward to breakfast again vs grab and go……perhaps next trip up. Bravo to the fabulous and wonderful staff that takes great care of me and my family (that drops in). -Jenny

Loved it! I was here on business with a large group and we were all treated so well during our week stay at this hotel. Dante, Sabrina, and Jess were all super accommodating and helpful. They even made us cookies and schlepped us around Chanhassen for dinner. The rooms were always turned around after a long day and the bed was INSANELY comfortable. Great experience. Would recommend to anyone coming to Chanhassen.

I was impressed from the get go upon arriving at Holiday Inn Express in Chanhassen. All of the front desk personnel were extremely friendly and knew what event we were attending. We received a shuttle ride at our leisure to our event, which was awesome, as well at the contact info if we needed for a ride back! But what really stuck out to me was that I left my wallet in the room upon check-out. I didn't realize it was missing. Amy the GM when out of her way to track me down and let me know that they had it. I was extremely grateful and overwhelming impressed with the level of professionalism and integrity of the Holiday Inn Express in Chanhassen! Thank you all for your kindness and hospitality! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone needing a place to stay in the Chanhassen area.

Highly recommend this hotel! Very clean and newly remodeled. Staff is friendly and attentive. We had a nice size room with kitchenette. Extremely quiet. Full breakfast included. Pool, giant waterslide, and hot tub all nicely maintained.

I stayed here with my daughter and two of her friends while we were in the area for MOA and Valleyfair. First thing I want to comment on was the beds. SO comfortable! I didn't feel like I was sleeping on a slab of concrete and the kids said the same. We all slept so good. Second, the water pressure in the shower was amazing. Third, they loved the pool and slide. Last, but not least...the kids really enjoyed the breakfast bar. Also, being able to make hot chocolate at night before bed. The staff was super friendly and I would absolutely return here. I have zero complaints!

Not only is this hotel clean, but they honestly have the KINDEST and most welcoming staff ever. They truly go above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of throughout your whole stay. My stay was work related, and sometimes stressful- but they knew how to ease all of us. All 30+ team members. THEY ARE THE BEST! I wish I can drop names- I should've done this back in May. I think Kathryn? amazing! and the GM. She rocks too!

Beds were cozy and firm for my back, the pool has a water slide(bonus), access to local fitness center, close to the highway yet quiet, the breakfast is healthy and the coffee is always available and hot 🔥. The service and management was courteous and helpful. This will be our go-to hotel whenever we visit our family.

Nice hotel for a quick trip. Reasonably current rooms, hot water in the showers. The AC units really need some work though. At the very least they need a temperature controlled thermostat. Otherwise, you're either not sleeping because it's sweltering, or you're not sleeping because of how loud the units are. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.

Excellent hotel. Staff were very friendly and rooms were very clean. Really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. They had a big pool slide, which it not something you see very often. I'd definitely stay here again.
