Northern Hope Veterinary Care

Penny and Caesar are patients of Dr Sara and Dr Sara Graber. Both dogs love visiting Northern Hope! We are very happy with all the services that both doctors provide. Penny has lots of health problems and receives acupuncture and chiropractic services as well as Chinese remedies for seizures. Both doctors are so gentle with our animals and very attentive to us. Very friendly receptionists, technicians and assistants. Northern Hope also carry holistic food that is impossible to find in the area except ordering online. We completely trust Dr Sara with diagnosis and treatment of our pets.

Northern hope has always been a great experience! Just recently we brought in our litter of 8 pups, I was super nervous how it would go with so many pups but they were super great and organized! Made it a stress free experience!

Dr. Sara is a dream vet! My dog was mauled by a pit bull 4 years ago and in pain tight muscles and spasms. Jackie has acupuncture and has seen a Chiropractor and is doing so much better. She has a new diet and has liver happy, muscle sore is “smiling” (showing her teeth) when people pet her.

I took my little Bosley in to see Dr Sara and I was so impressed with her. She was the best vet I have ever taken my little guy to. Very informative and the care she gave him was outstanding. I am so glad I found her. Not only did her and her staff show kindness, compassion, and care for my pet, they also showed me kindness , compassion and understanding. We are so glad to have found Northern Hope Veterinary Care. Dr. Sara Hooge and her staff are a great relief when pet parents need reassurance and a caring vet. Dr. Hooge helped me with feeding my pooches a home-made diet (which can be overwhelming when starting), along with all their supplements. Dr. Sara is a true Christian and it shines through in her love for her fur-baby clients and their families.

I recently had to put my dog to rest, I had never been to Northern Hope prior to this visit, but they were the only vet within the Brainerd Lakes and surrounding area that were willing to help me with my situation. I had been battling a lot of guilt and doubt, but from the moment I walked into the door, I had never felt more at peace with my decision than that moment. Everyone was great, supportive, helpful, friendly, and so comforting. From Jenny at the front desk, Dr, Sarah, and every one else that had a part in Homer’s end of life care, you all truly made the process easier. I can’t remember everyone’s names, but I will always remember you. Thank you for making Homer and I both feel at ease. I still find comfort in how comfortable and loved you made Homer. You guys will never know how much I appreciate your work. Northern Hope is the best vet in the area in my book and I will be transferring my vet care to Northern Hope in the future. Keep up your fantastic work guys!

Having a pet get injured is heartbreaking. This team got Gus in right away and treated him with love and kindness. The staffs knowledge amazes me and we love their holistic approach to healing. Our boys have a new vet team for sure. ❤

Our dog needed to be seen for an urgent visit right before the holiday weekend. They were able to fit her in with very short notice. We really appreciated that!! We are very grateful for all the staff at Northern Hope.

Love and passion live here. Sara and the team took in my car Kevin in critical condition and walked me through every step and situation every day. He was in wonderful hands, highly recommend

I’m new to the area I needed to have my baby (18) put to sleep. The atmosphere of this clinic is amazing and so comforting. The tech and Dr. Sarah were amazing and very accommodating to me and my boy. I will definitely be transferring the rest of my zoo’s care to Dr. Sarah.

Chiropractor has helped my little Frenchie Blossom. She couldn’t use her hind legs at all and now she’s walking and continuing to improve daily! I was very skeptical but Blossom is doing much better. Thank you so much!

I love them, had an emergency with my dog and there were no appointments available. They took him in and saw him in-between appointments. They kept me updated and worked with me on finances. Even visited me at my work to let me know how he did after surgery. Will definitely go to them from now on! Pics of Koda and his "babies".

The staff really loves animals. They make you feel like your pets are the only animals that matter.

I brought my kitty jasmine there. Before she was worked on the vet came in loved on her, got to know her, gave her treats and all. All the people there were so welcoming and nice! 100% best place to go.

Hundred percent loved our whole experience! Koda was not nervous at all! Everyone from the front desk to the techs and the doctor were absolutely wonderful, informative and caring! My siblings are switching their animal care there now, too!

I love this place. They take such good care of my Greta and are always so kind and gentle. Doctor Sarah spends as much time with you as needed to answer any questions or concerns. Greta loves the liver treats too! ❤

Took my Lil Lewie for a puppy visit and boosters and couldn't be happier. They are more holistic in their beliefs, which fits me to a tee. Went home with lots of helpful info. Will be back!

A wonderful place,the treat your pets and you as if you were family,they know what they are doing and very knowledgeable and understanding,we've put one furry fam to rest there and wouldn't bring our other 2 pups anywhere else.the cost is very reasonable and the service and care is way more valuable than the cents one will spend.100%..

I adopted a dog that was neglected and had multiple health issues. I am happy to say that my pup is doing great and has zero health issues. I've had vets that were pill pushers. This is not the case at Northern Hope! We simple made some diet changes added a few supplements and had 4 acupuncture sessions. I've had animals for over 30yrs so obviously been through my fare share of Vets and Northern Hope is the BEST! Thank you so much! Happy Dog Happy Life!
