Rock Lake Campground

Went to the beach to cool off on a hot day. Nice public water access, and it seems to have nice sized camp sites.

The Camp ground was great! Everything was in walking distance from our site. The sand at the swim beach was soft. The outhouses where clean. We where not about to catch many fish to windy! There where many places to go and get fire wood. The bugs where not so bad. Over all we had a fantastic time.

Nice campground for a state forest. Very wooded but a little cramped for sites along the lake. Has a day use area and swim beach as well.

Can't complain for the price. Beautiful views and nice walking trails. Right next to Pillsbury State Forest!!!!

Very beautiful campground and lake! 16 or 17 camp sights on the water and another 30 or so close to it. Boat ramp public day use beach. Great spot for dry camping as there are no hook ups for power or water. But there is portable water in two places in the park.

Lake is clean and typically quiet. Everyone is respectful and clean even on weekends and holidays. There are outhouses and a water pump and many convenient stores right outside of the state forest. Highly recommend this Campground.

Lakeside sites, gorgeous views, and nice sites for tents or campers. Fire rings are decent, campfire wood to be found down the road or Pilsbury Hardwoods also down the road and it's cheap. There are a lot of deerflies during certain parts of the day, minimal mosquitos but pack the bug spray. We didn't have a ton of noise, but some parties and generator noise. For the price and the Lakeview you can't beat it!

Been going to Rock Lake since I was a kid. It's close to home, always clean and has a great beach. I think they should take the one lake lot that's a picnic spot and turn it back into a camping lot. With that great beach and picnic area there's no need to waste a lake lot.

A very nice small campground with a swimming beach and trails in a state forest. Playground for the children, dump station, water, bathrooms, and fire rings. Accessible spaces, most pull through with some lakeside lots

We have always enjoyed staying at rock lake. Perfect place to build family camping traditions. Well maintained

Nice, quiet campground. Plenty of open sites when we visited, wished we would have gotten there a bit earlier to get a lakeside site.

I love this campground I have been coming here since I was really little with my grandparents 2 aunts and parents. This campground was like my summer home away from home Haha 😀😀😀

Rock Lake Campground is a quiet State Forest people who come there too just to party will be asked to leave it is not a party Campground

Have been camping here for 30 years. Great no power camping trip. Various sized tent campsites.

I've never been in this area before, this place makes me think about some of my favorite places. I love the setup and how it's far enough from the road and close enough to the city.
