Oak Shores Campground

We grew up camping at Oak Shores, but it had been nearly 30 years since we had been camping here and WOW, what a difference! The campground expanded so much and we are excited to see what the future holds as more expansions are in the making. There is so much to do here - Golf cart trails, playgrounds for kids, basketball courts, disc golf, swimming pool, beach front, fishing...there's a little bit of everything. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we ended up booking another trip for the following weekend, and we look forward to making Oak Shores a normal campground for us for years to come.

Great family campground just outside of Decatur. Some of the back in sites have odd hookups requiring an extension cord, or extra hose. Pull through FHU sites are perfect. They have an on-site restaurant, medium sized pool, golf cart rental and sales.

Nice, little camp ground, had swimming pool, small game room, nice showers, and the fishing 🎣 was great. I would camp there again.

We went camping for the first time here,rented cabin C49 and ended buying a seasonal here. The management and staff here are amazing. If something unforeseen happens, they will do whatever (within reason) they can to make it right. Love,love,love this place.

1st timers & we Had some fun here even if it did rain a bit. We enjoyed the ADULTS ONLY hot tub while kids enjoyed the pool. The staff was amazing. We will definitely go back!! The owner said he dreamed up this area and planted all the trees 50 years ago in hopes of having a shady area for campers. He succeeded!

Me and my family love it here so much I wan to stay there every day

Was there and toured the camp grounds. It's quite a large place. It has approximately 270 campsites and about 160 are permanent sites (yearly) . Almost all of the sites were full hookups. Most of the roads were black top. The new section was still gravel. the grounds seemed well kept. For going the first week in October the place was really pretty much full. The had a free soup and salad all you wanted just bring a can of veggies for each person. We took 6 cans but we stuffed ourselves. The have a nice little store I bought 3 swimsuits for $25 cause the were getting ready to close for the year. Have a inside pool children play area. They have a kitchen that they run special dinners thru the week. We just had a great time there and we got a 3 day weekend pass already for next year. YOU JUST GOTTA CHECK IT OUT.

Is always so clean and with things planned to help you enjoy it even better. We go at least once a year ( we live in Wisconsin). Always recommend it

This is a very nice family and pet friendly campground. It is a big campground, 300+ sites. They have a pool and hot tub. Large play area for the kids. If not for the pandemic, they always have lots of activities planned. The bathrooms and showers are cleaned at least twice a day.
Plenty of room to walk the dog.
Also have canoe, kayak and row boats you can rent.

This campground is amazing! We have camped here for 3 weekends and absolutely love it. So many fun things for the family and kids. From management to seasonals everyone is very welcoming and nice! We look forward to camping here next year. Thank you everyone at Oakshores for a great experience!

Friend of the family, but this is a great family friendly campground. It has a pool, hot tub, lake, restaurant, laundromat, and more. If you plan on visiting, please remember to drive slow and cautiously.

Vacationed here last year and decided that it was so nice we bought one of those seasonals in here

Our family has camped @Oak Shores for many years and love it! We leave this weekend to begin our two week camp vacation on Knickerbocker Lake and look forward to making more family/friends memories. 😊

Very nice place to stay. Friendly people. Plenty of places to walk relax and enjoy the view. Will come back again for sure.

Very nice campground with full hookups. The only issue was the wi fi or lack of. In today's would the camp needs a good strong wi fi signal. Other wise its a very nice park that I would go back to

One of the Best campgrounds we stayed at, friendly people, very clean and well maintained. Always a lot of Fun!!!

Came here for a day visit, but are planning an overnight experience soon. Very family friendly, clean, plenty of room to roam.

I have so many memories here from when I was a child. It stayed the same since 2011 except for the activities but that's because of Corona; that's understandable though. I may be biased because of the memories...

Awesome place to camp. Staff went out of their way to treat ya like family. Will be back soon.

Best place Ive ever been camping at. Everyone is friendly. They have a pool, lake, pond, resteraunt, etc.
