David Quinn and Tim Vigil just signed their work at the Comix Corner as part of a trip to be guests at The Great Lakes Comic Convention. Creators of the legendary Faust comic and authors/artists of other works like Dr Strange, asked the show runner to extend their signing engagement 1 day at a legendary comic shop that is a Detroit area Fan favorite. Comix Corner was the immediate pick. In operation for more than 45 years and run by the founder's son and a long time employee Keith - you can see why the store has so many loyal fans.

A huge selection of new and old comics and toys, a welcoming and knowledgeable staff and a love of literacy and freedom of speech are all winning ingredients to make this a wonderful experience for people of all ages and backgrounds.

We loved the people we met there, found lots of things to round out our personal collections and their customers were so interesting and fun. We will make Comix Corner a permanent destination to visit and show our new work to when we visit from New York.

Can't say enough about these guys. As someone newer to comics, everyone here has made me feel right at home. Staff is super kind and knowledgable, their organization is fantastic, and their pricing is the best you can find in the area. The atmosphere is super comfortable and the music is always great. After a couple visits, the fellas here really get to know you and are more than happy to help find just about anything, even going as far as special ordering some trade paperbacks they didnt have in stock to make sure I got the best deal possible. Absolutely fantastic place, no matter how long you've been in the hobby! Can't recommend them enough!

First time going to this store. They have a lot of really cool stuff. I'm just getting back into buying comics and had a list of a few things I wanted. Found a few of them right away. Thought I was going to have to dig. If you're just starting out collecting and are on a budget like me they have a lot between $10-30. I didn't get a steal on anything but everything was priced how it should be. They even took a couple dollars off at the register without me asking. There was a couple things out of my price range for this trip but I'll probably buy those next time I'm in. Asked for a recommendation on something new and the person in the store was very knowledgeable. I settled on the new ASM. It was a little bit of a drive but I think this is my new comic book store.

Great store for modern books, don't expect to see Silver, bronze or copper age.. at least not many. I don't think old collections are going through this store... Again, great place for modern books though.

DAN THE MAN. He never loses his cool when my kids come with me. Has my comics in hand ready to go before I even reach the counter. Highly recommend the Club. I never have to worry about missing an issue!

They have deals, like dollar comics or a whole stack of books for like 6 bucks. I got almost the entire run of All Star Batman(minus one issue) for 6 dollars. Pretty dope. Small-ish shop off Utica but totally worth a trip sometime. I highly recommend it.

This store is great! The guys are always super helpful and the selection in the store is great from new books to trade paperbacks.

A wonderful shop that I've been going to for years. Excellent customer service, kind people who visit, and some of the best selection of comics around! Plus, promoting local artists is always a plus.

Comix Corner has been around for almost 40 years that I've been a customer. Due to the amazing family that has always owned & operated it and the comic book selection they offer this place is and always has been my favorite place to visit. Highly recommend!!!

I used to come here weekly with my dad as a kid, but stopped collecting for a while then moved away for college. I started collecting again a few years ago, but coming back 10 years later to this store and it’s just as great as it’s always been. Still one of the best comic shops I’ve ever been to, with a great selection and stock of new books, as well as great back issue selection and prices. Not to mention some of the best customer service consistently.

My go to since my teens, and I am in my 40's now. Not much of a collector anymore but they always are welcoming and have a great selection.

A lovely place to purchase comics! The clerk is always enthusiastic and kind, and he's always ready to talk to his guests. Picked up a ton of stuff at really low prices (discounts on top of already low prices for paperbacks and older issues), and they do have a great hold program if you plan to buy from the store often. Honestly a wonderful comic shop that everyone needs to go to!

Tons and tons and tons of all kinds of comics and many other fun and nerdy items for purchase. I'm a big supporter of local/family owned stores and the person I met during my first visit was very helpful and super chill, even while he was making haste to get the store ready for new releases. If you're interested/in need of the latest comic releases or your looking to get into comics and don't know where to start, check this place out!

This is a really cool shop. I went in there for the first time today and the guy in there was very nice and helpful and answered any questions my brother and I had. He told me they have over 30 thousand comic books, both new and older, so this is a good spot to stop if you want to bolster or start your collection. I definitely will be back!

I've only been twice, but had great experiences both times. It has that classic comic store, but more welcoming. They'll answer questions if you have them or make recommendations, but they're never pushy and will let you just browse until you find what you're looking for. I just really dug the vibe.

Great knowledgeable staff, went in with a gift card I hadn't been in, in awhile because I had lost interest. But found some great stuff and getting back into comics the guy behind the counter was very knowledgeable and helped alot. I will return.

The store is top notch with books and the people Dan and Keith are amazing they make you feel welcome and are super friendly. I got into comics within the last year or so and this is my favorite store I visit frequently.
