Hart Motel

I LOVE the Hart Motel! The rooms are super adorable and sparkling clean, the owner is super friendly and fun to talk to, and the room rates are very fair. There's always a fire pit going near the office, which is nice if you have the time to relax by it. I always feel like I'm at home when I stay here. I love the cabin/woodsy decor of the rooms too. You wont find a cuter, cleaner, and more enjoyable place to stay in the area. I rarely say this, but I'd pick this place over an air bnb any day! It's the best!

I stayed mid pandemic for my job. It was reasonably priced, clean, scenic, and comfortable the entire stay. I was there for a good month or more. Everything was so welcoming and calming, I wanted to stay again for sure. The manager (Mike? I forget everything) of the place was incredibly hospitable, always made sure I had everything I needed. If I'm in the area I might just stop by. Good memories.

This is the most beautiful place we have stayed. Our own little private place, private backyard, fire pit, secured and relaxing. Tim is so generous and accommodating. He made our birthday weekend so much nicer. We had the king suite cabin and I cannot even put into words how gorgeous it is. Please go and stay, you will not regret it at all. We've found our home away from and can't wait to come back! God bless you Tim and the Hart Motel!

The Hart Motel was awesome! Drove up for for a surpise trip and needed a place to stay the night. Tim at the front desk was great, easy check in, great price and great room! So cute and comfortable and CLEAN (UV light and machine cleaning). The grounds are beautifully kept and there is fire pits and grills for the guests.

You get so much more than what meets the eye from the roadside. Beautifully rustic, bbq's available for use and camp fires going around the hotel. Hospitality is top notch! Gorgeous flower and vegetable plants everywhere! Super comfy beds and pillows. Will definitely be returning!!!

The meticulous attention to cleanliness and detail inside and out make this one of a kind motel completely charming. I'd make it a point to stay here again if we come back to this area. The management is welcoming and friendly. Fires are kept burning in 2 outdoor locations for friendly chats amongst the flowers. Picnic tables & grill for your use under the trees. Festive flags and flowers everywhere. Love the interior decor.

Very very nice, clean and friendly. It is a must stay if you are looking for a great experience with motel and camping together. There are camp fires going all night and day. Grills, black stone grills to use at your convenience. We have stayed here over half dozen time and never had a bad experience. A MUST STAY....

This is the place to stay! Tim is a great guy, in the office there is free coffee and pop and water bottles. Fire going all day into the night. Room air conditioning is amazing, great decor and very very clean. 100% RECOMMENDED

A beautiful and well-positioned motel in the town of Hart Michigan. I made my reservation at 9pm over the phone, as it was kind of a last minute stop. I chose this place only because I wanted to drink at the taproom nearby, but it turns out this place is so so so great! We had a single room with a queen sized bed, but on my way out I met the owner/operator and he gave me a tour of other rooms! Each room/suite is unique and he put a lot of work into each one. The little details like the sinks and sliding barn doors and scattered pieces of antique or vintage furniture are neat. Very good deal for the inn/b&b feel. Usually I love trying new places, but to be honest if I'm ever in West Michigan I would try to stay here again.

Great place to stay! I have stayed here twice and will be back. Very friendly and helpful owner. Tim will even help you get your morning coffee when you forget your glasses in your room. Beds are very comfortable. I was fortunate to get a tour of a lot of the rooms, all are lovely.

This was the cutest little motel I've ever stayed at. The front desk people were so friendly and nice. The room was clean and super cozy. Each room has it's own little cabin like theme. I will definitely stay here again.

It was a great experience from the room to the food. We had a wonderful time. The dunes, the beach and the lighthouse.

I love how unique each of the rooms and cottages are. They keep hardwood fires burning 24/7, and we cooked over the open flame even though we had one of the cottages with a full kitchen. It was great, and we will definitely be back. BTW, we were in our honeymoon biking MI on a tandem!

You have no idea you're staying someplace special until you arrive and open the door to your room. The warm glow of the mountain cabin rooms so tastefully done to the fire pit outside your room lit every morning and evening. The property and flower gardens are well manicured. The hospitality was warm and inviting and it was a delight to stay at the Hart Motel.

Very nice and clean motel. Felt nice and smelt nice. The beds were so comfortable I did not want to get out of it the next morning. Motel Tim is a very nice guy and was extremely courteous. I would definitely stay here again

A little slice of campy heaven, this motel humbly boasts friendly, down-home service and unbelievable landscaping. The attention to detail is striking (especially w/ hosts building bonfires before you arrive) and an encouragement to make memories with your loved ones while you stay. I’ll be sure to return at every opportunity.

We had an amazing time here at the Hart Motel! The two gentleman were very welcoming and so accomidating! Our room was very clean and our beds were made everyday for us and cleaned the rooms daily. We hung out by the fire pits everynight and relaxed. This was a great bonding experience for me and my two daughters! They Treated us like we were family. Great location to the Sand Dunes. Grocery store across the street. I would highly recommend this motel. Super unique! We loved our room. Will definatley be back... From Christina Rowland and her two daughters

Our stay was just what we needed after a long day at the sand dunes. Nothing fancy but lots of charm. Room was clean and felt like home. The kids loved the campfire...a great way to end a fun, memorable day!

Unbelievable amount of detail and care in every room. Even the outside decor is very well kept and you can tell that the owner cares about his clients. Very homey feel and plenty of campfires and amenities.

Beautifully decorated rooms. Always very polite staff and such a relaxing environment!! I have stayed at Hart motel for a couple years on a continuous weekly basis and there is no other place I will stay if I am in the Muskegon, Oceana, Mason County areas!! Tim the owner is always there for any questions or concerns and the bond fires are so nice on a nice chilly night! I HIGHLY recommend Hart motel!!
