Honestly very clean and nicely kept.

But from a ghost hunters perspective... spent hours here and got not even a blip. Apparently they don't bury very many restless spirits which could be a good or a bad thing depending on your perspective.

I went here in Fall 2020 looking for my friend's grave. I walked up and down rows for a while before going to the office. These 2 guys who were supposed to be the bosses kept misspelling my friend's name, asking me the same questions over and over, and acting like it was a major hassle to look it up. But then there was this woman who'd heard me talking to them, and she brought me out a map with my friend's grave clearly marked. I think about this often and wonder if that woman was Jesus. Or if she is just a regular woman, then I am really grateful to her.

Calvary Cemetery is the worst kept cemetery in the Winnebago Rockford area. They're rules are only for some people. If you want to be buried in a place that lets some people keep the grave site like the city dump this is it.

Went to go see my grandmother's headstone who has been there since 2007 just to find her headstone completely shattered today along with the grass around it not be very clean and covering most of her headstone. Not a very happy grandchild of hers right now
