The doctors & staff are very friendly & compassionate. We brought our shelter pup in and the doctor made friends with him first then did the exam. Spent time talking to us and explained everything.

They have helped us in the passed with our late boy Duke's surgeries and they are top notch. Would highly recommend. ❤

We take both of our dogs here and I am always so impressed by the staff. Everyone from the front desk, techs, and vets are always so helpful and I feel like they really listen to our concerns and help come up with a plan. Anytime I have called with a concern, they are great about calling right back, getting appropriate prescriptions, and making us feel like they really care about our dogs. I wouldn’t take my dogs anywhere else!

Our dog was bit by another dog, and Dogwood treated our dog immediately and saved his life. They made us feel comfortable before and after our dog’s surgery and follow up care went smoothly. I would highly recommend them because of their amazing staff and professionalism.

I wish I could give unlimited stars! Our 2 year old dog Mosby fractured his tibia in 3 spots back in January and if it wasn’t for this staff going above and beyond to help us & Mosby, I believe we wouldn’t be where we are 10 weeks out. He is healed and slowly coming back around to his puppy self. Our family is so fortunate to of had them through this tough time. We can’t thank y’all enough!

I recently took my pet to dogwood for the first time, and I am beyond impressed. As soon as you walk in, the staff is there to warmly greet you. During the appointment the tech and Dr were beyond friendly, very throughout with explanations on orthopedic surgery’s, and they made sure to answer any questions I may have had. Not only that, but I was very impressed with the follow up email I received that had a summery of the whole visit. I have never felt so welcomed at any vet before arriving at dogwood, and most importantly I can most definitely trust the staff with my animals. I’m very likely going to switch over to Dogwood as my primary vet. Thank you for everything!

Ivan was handled respectfully using safe movement techniques throughout the facility. They provide consistent quailty care across visits and across staff. I appreciated the quick check out so Ivan could return to the car as soon as the visit ended.

The young lady who greeted us was very personable and efficient in spite of being the only one working at a very busy time. Anna who assisted Dr. Lamont of course is always wonderful as is Dr. Lamont. Keep them all!

Our lab, Daisy was a patient at Dogwood. She was released from doctor’s care this morning! She had an orthopedic procedure done here. I cannot say enough about the Doctors & their care team. The staff is fantastic and are truly a God sent to our fur baby and us. I highly recommend their services.

Dogwood pet hospital really cares about your pet. From the moment I walked in to the very clean lobby/waiting room, I was greeted with a soft and kind voice. Everyone I came into contact with was very upbeat, friendly, and really showed their passion for animals. Albeit a cold and rainy Friday morning!

Bottom line, if you have an animal in your life and you care for the well-being of that animal deeply, bring them to Dogwood Pet Hospital! They are reasonably priced, respectful of your opinions and your time, and it is just a very short drive away from my house!

Dogwood has been taking care of Buddy for a few years now and I am satisfied with their routine and Liked Dr. Yokum very much.

I cannot express my appreciation to Dr. Yocum and her staff for all the care and expertise she has shown with my Remi, a 2 year old GSP. He was diagnosed with Blastomycosis on Good Friday....and although we had an appointment the following Wednesday, she worked us in because of his new symptoms. She has seen him 2 more times so far, as this is a serious illness and we have a long road to recovery. I cannot thank her enough for the information, the care and the time she has given me for all my questions and concerns. Highly recommend her!!!

My German Shepherd, Holly, has been having health issues for a few months now, we have had appointments with other veterinarians who have not been able to give us definite answers as to why she is having these health problems. We recently moved and have chose Dogwood pet hospital as her new vet who she saw a week ago. The receptionist was very friendly and accommodating as Holly was not feeling well and she was able to get us in the very next day. When we arrived, all the office staff was awesome, we felt very welcomed and comfortable being there. Holly saw Dr. Yocum who was very thorough with her examination of Holly. She is doing blood tests and has some ideas of what might be going on with Holly, which we never had anyone else tell us before. She is very knowledgeable, caring, friendly and makes us feel very positive that she is not going to give up, but will definitely find out exactly what the problem is so we can get our Holly feeling well again. I’m feeling very confident and happy with Dogwood pet hospital and would highly recommend them. Thank you to everyone there.
