Pomp's Tire Service

I was stuck on the side of the road with a blown out tire waiting for a family member to come help me and Wally was driving by and stopped to help me put my spare tire on. Wally Perez deserves a raise! He is amazing and his customer service was outstanding! I will definitely be calling Pomp's Tire Service the next time I am stranded on the side of the road.

Giant thanks to Wally Percz for his rescue of us when our front right tire blew on the Ill throughway. He not only stopped his truck in a way that protected us from traffic but changed to our spare, got us two new front tires and arranged a much needed alignment. Outstanding work.

Wally from Pomp’s tire service helped me out of a major bind when my skid plate fell off on the highway. He was fast, kind and helped me understand what had happened and what to do next. I’m truly grateful for his help!

I came to Pomp's because another shop couldn't get my tires on my truck, and had actually ruined 1 trying ( hard sidewalls M/T tires). But once I received the new tire the guys at Pomp's were able to get them on, and also fixed a broken sensor for me. The whole shop of guys were great! All very nice, easy going, and helpful. Because of my experience with the previous shop, they helped me out a little on the price of everything. It's my understanding that they are under new management, and I can't say enough good things about my experience here. Joe and Andy are great managers, and Eddie who did the install thank you all so much! Shout out to Wally, just cuz he was so sweet to me the 1st time I showed up and we discovered my tire was ruined. I think he could tell I was ready to cry lol. They got the job done that the other guys couldn't! And it looks pretty sweet!

I had a flat tire on the highway. I began jacking my car up and suddenly a Pomp's Tire truck pulled up in front of me. Wally came and helped me quickly switch out my tire, and got me safely back on the road. I was extremely grateful for his assistance, and called the store to tell the manager how thankfulI I was for the help. Then I asked if I could come out to get my tire patched right away, and they said of course so I headed over. The staff was amazing and very friendly. They had my tire fixed and back on quickly. Overall, this saved me a lot of money and time. I would recommend Pomp's to anyone, and appreciate them so very much. Thank you!

I got lucky because they weren't busy, so Andy worked with my service manager to take care of my blown out trailer tire. The tech Gary was fast, I got in and out in about an hour. Great crew, thanks!

On my way out of town I got a flat tire on the interstate. I just made it to the exit and off the ramp to the side of the highway. I called road side assistance as the flat was rim all the way to the ground. Before they got there, Wally P. from the Machesney Park location pulled up on his way to work and got me taken care of. I was back on the road within 20 minutes of stopping, and on to my work commitment. He was great and helped plain and simple because he said it was the right thing to do. I will get my new tire from Pomp's and highly recommend Wally P. Thank you!

Wally Perez really made a bad day into the best blown tire experience I could have had. The world should know about the unwavering beacon of professionalism and competence that Wally shines out to the rest of us. Amen

I would recommend Pomps and the staff to anyone. Wally Perez did an outstanding job with my new tires, and went above and beyond to help me out with an issue I was unaware of. He bent over backwards to help me to be safe and was extremely knowledgeable. I actually thought he was the manager in the garage.There were 3 other vehicles there when I arrived and he had his hands full. He checked on me and kept me updated throughout. All of the employees were very helpful, Dominic ( I think) was awesome, and Logan was great to chat with as well. Another incident happened, so Wally called the manager to keep him posted on the cracked rim issue that he found that I was unaware of, and I believe his name was Joe, when he came into the garage area he actually swore at him and said " whats going on Wally, yeah I heard you, but I was in back f'n busy". I'm pretty cool and thought Joe was too, but that was extremely disrespectful to Wally and unprofessional in front of me. Hopefully he apologized. Overall Pomps is a terrific place to get new tires and feel safe about any issues you may have in the future. I will be back and recommend Wally and Pomps to friends and family!!

amazing service!! I was a tech for 5 years and am very happy of the service I received on my car trailer today. Not only did they help us get back on the road but they also didn’t rip us off on installing the tires! Highly recommend for your next tire purchase! Couldn’t thank pomp’s enough!

Had a flat on my U haul car trailer. Unfortunately U Haul had the gentleman bring the wrong size tire. Another man brought 2 more tires out to replace for safety. The kind man replaced the tires and followed us to get close to home safely. Thank you sir. You went above and beyond to make our road side assistance the best it could be in a frustrating situation.

My tire blew out recently and after waiting over an hour for roadside service, Walley showed up after being notified by the sheriff and got us back on the road right away and didn’t have to wait any longer for roadside.
