The stereo in my 2015 Toyota Corolla S failed due to Toyota using cheap aluminum wiring instead of copper. A combination of moisture or pollution caused extensive wire deterioration. Dave and Mike resolved the problem at a very fair price. Toyota wouldn’t acknowledge the problem, but lots of 2014 & 2015 Corolla owners have had the same problem. This will be my last Toyota. Look forward to doing future business with Dave and Mike and highly recommend them for all your car stereo needs. 👍👍👍👍👍

I have been going here for just a few yrs. and I'll tell you why. Dave & Mike treat you, & your vehicle like it's their own! You won't get better, or more knowledgeable service anywhere in Rkfd or the 815! Hands down, the best shop around! A+++

I've had remote starts put in 2 family members cars from here. The owner is incredibly nice and patient, and work is done quickly without cutting corners. When I had an issue with my remote, it was fixed next day free of charge. I would recommend this place for any service/add-ons to your vehicle.

Six months ago, I had my Directed Smart Start and Python Remote module fitted to my 2014 Mustang.

From my initial contact (phone) with Cars and Stereos, they were very professional. I brought my car in for them to take a look at, made an appointment for the same week!

On picking up my car, Dave explained how the System worked and it has worked flawlessly since! I really enjoyed getting into a warm car over the chilly Mid West winters!

Great service, terrific quality work. Brought my Porsche in and Dave was very friendly and did a great job on my custom requests. Any other stereo work I have done belongs to him.

Dave is the best. I was in town for a few days and needed a bluetooth stereo installed in a older car before a long drive. Called and spoke with dave, he said come on down and it will done today. He called a couple hours later to say it was done. When I arrived he walked me to my car, he jumped in and showed me how the new unit worked. Thanks

Hello prospective customers for Cars & Stereos-to hit you in the face up front-this is the place to go especially in the greater Rockford area. I had them install a head unit that I purchased in my Volvo S80. This is not a simple task which you'd know if you've ever done electrical/electronic work on any Volvo. The finished work was clean and everything worked correctly. My only regret was buying my head unit from Crutchfield and not directly from C&S. I have since purchased other installation items from them and they are high quality, good fitting parts. I will continue to give them my business.

My wife got me a remote start for Christmas. Dave was friendly and knowledgeable. It gets real busy and Christmas do make your appointment early.

Just left there and I cant say enough good about this place ..Installed a jvc stereo in my car in less than an hour and the owners were awesome guys to deal with.You will not be disappointed.
