First time here. Definitely going back to try more menu items. Our favorite Mexican restaurant closed in 2020. So happy we may have found a new favorite!

Excellent customer service with great food. It was highly recommended and we weren't disappointed! Free chips & salsa, we didn't ask for a refill. Good size portions on the food too. The empty plate says it all!

The best Mexican I have had in Illinois! It is slightly higher than I am accustomed to paying for the same quality food and they do charge a 3%-4% card fee. Other than that, they have larger portions and the service we had was very good.

I absolutely LOVE this restaurant!!! Hands-down, the best Mexican restaurant in our region!! The atmosphere and ambience is nice and clean, including the bathroom! People are always so welcoming, nice and super helpful. Every single employee is always smiling and always have such a great attitudes! The drinks are fabulous too! The food is absolutely Delicious and priced very fairly!! Highly recommended! You won’t be sorry!! :)

One of the best Mexican restaurants in the area. I've lived in Santiago de Querétaro, Mexico for a while and they really know how to replicate the taste here at this restaurant. It is worth your money and the staff is always an enjoyment.

I come here only so often due to how far I live from this place. This is by far the best Mexican restaurant in the Rockford area. The food is made fresh and so good, drinks are great and the service is awesome. Prices are very reasonable!

I ordered the Taco Guanajuato's, and it was really fantastic. Hubby ordered the Chicken San Jose, it has a great side of vegetables that we love. The service was friendly, prompt, and accurate. Prices are very reasonable for the quantity of food received. Seating is comfortable, restaurant and restrooms are clean. We love coming here every time we are in this neighborhood. Give it a try, you can thank me later!! 😁

Tried this restaurant based on the reviews, and I was very happy I did. Delicious food, and they went above and beyond creating a veggie burrito that was filled with actual vegetables like peppers, squash, mushrooms and onions. You could easily have a satisfying vegan meal here as they are very accommodating. Loved our waiter and the chef did a great job. Will definitely be back!

Lovely and delicious food. Plus, awesome drink specials. I had this pina colada for only $5 during the month of June. I also had a chile realleno that was very mouth watering and not too spicy.

I appreciated the service as well. The servers were fast and attentive. I'm so happy to have this restaurant in Machesney Park.

I like that each customer has a separate salsa as well.

It's always a great time at Plaza Los Panchos. Amazing staff & service, great food & drinks, and awesome atmosphere to be in. We've tried multiple dishes on their menu, and they all were phenomenal. Highly recommend trying this place! 👌

This was a complete surprise as we just did a Google search and decided on Plaza Los Panchos for lunch. The inside is very nice and the booths are super comfy. The freshly made guacamole is amazing and the food is delicious. The portions are huge and the staff is very friendly. This is by far the best kept secret in Machesney Park. It will be well worth your time. Very impressed and I will be back.

Been here before, but this margarita is a first! Amazing service and servings. The food is full of flavor. The salsa and chips have more flavor than bite, so if you like hot ask for their side salsa, otherwise nice heat with the full bodies flavor. Seriously, price meets authentic Mexican and a definite return spot!!! #margies #yum

Service is great, food got to me quickly, and the booths are comfy! The chips come out hot, and the salsa is yum. I had the quesadilla fajita and horchata. Both were delicious. Stop here for a filling meal and friendly service!

Giant burrito chorizo was great. They were short on service today, Tuesday, so everything was a bit slow but all in all a very nice restaurant. Definitely a come back again. Sorry for the picture of an empty plate, but that's what's left of my burrito 🌯 😅

Excellent food. Portion size was very satisfying. The red sauce was sweet, not spicy. A drop or 2 of the habenero sauce went a long way to give a good spiciness to the dish and the salsa. The table chips and salsa were very fresh. Chips were warm, the salsa had the perfect amount of cilantro and onion. The Chile relleno was the best I've had!

Best Mexican restaurant around! This is our family’s favorite restaurant by far! Amazing food and amazing staff. Their prices are very reasonable. Large portions and delicious food!!!

Really good food & excellent service. This restaurant has become our 'go to' when we want Mexican food. They offer a wide variety of appetizers & main menu items, the portions are huge, the Margaritas are great, & they have a nice beer selection. Most importantly, the quality of their food, service & drinks is consistent each & every time we go!

If I had a choice to go anywhere In Macheseny Park it would definitely be here. The atmosphere is vibrant and fun, the staff are very attentive, and the food was amazing. I had the Carne Asada Tacos with steak and it was SO GOOD. 10/10
