I drove from Carbondale for these awesome donuts and coffee.

The guy working the counter was excellent, with great individualized customer service!

We tried the bacon donut long john, and it was terrific. The donuts were fresh, not greasy. My favorite place to get a good donut is this area!

Worth the drive at 6:30 am.

EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS!
I placed an order only a few days before an event and gave them a few inspiration pictures. I told them I wouldn't mind if they could only do something simple because I was happy they were taking a last minute order.

They knocked it out of the park with these cookies! I fully expected to be charged twice as much as I was.

Marks Bakery is one of, if not the best, bakery in southern Illinois. Their donuts of all kinds are delicious. The cream horns are my favorite. Their cookies are adorable and really good too. Customer service is great. All the workers there are helpful and kind. A great place to buy delicious pastries.

Mark's Bakery is the best bakery around and has been for decades. If I could get up early every morning we would definitely have donuts and pastries for breakfast every morning. It's a pleasure giving them my business.

This is a nice little mom and pop bakery, I tried lots of there pastries and they were all delicious a must go to spot they don’t make bakeries like this anymore

Good Donuts and cookies unfortunately just a little pricey but with today's inflation who can blame them and with having to pay people to work it's hard to make a go of things overall a great experience good food great service.

Everything is so delicious. Mark's Bakery is my go-to for anything pastry! Fantastic cream horns, seasonally designed sugar cookies, the lightest fluffy regular glazed donuts and everything in between. Their hours are short so get there no later than 7:00am to get your favorite. Sometimes they sell out by 10am! They also bake custom cakes. Their light and creamy buttercream frosting isn't sickening sweet...I love it! I'd give it 10 stars if possible!

Well this was my first time there and, I got the cream horns and when I say top of the line I mean it. I could tell that these are very home made the cream had a vanilla like favor." ,Nothing like those you by anywhere else."🤗💓☝🏾🫶🏾 I will be back for sure.

Mark's Bakery is the best bakery anywhere. I live in DuQuoin and work in Benton. I get requests all the time to pick up pastries and take to work. My family in Bloomington, Illinois, also loves Mark's. Never disappointed. Always satisfied.

Best bakery ever!! They have everything made fresh everyday. Everything I've ever tried is so delicious. And the cookies r amazing. They taste good and she always does some themed with the season or just cool ones. I went at 9am on a Saturday morning and they was all sold out if that tells u anything. And the prices r great I feel like it's cheaper than Casey's donuts and they r better.

I love the products Mark's Bakery makes I bought long John's, chocolate frosted cake donuts(for my other half lol) long John's not filled thank God and Apple fritters some of the best I have ever had and sure would recommend anyone going to get any donuts they want or love they also have cookies! I wish they made breads but that's not an option but great they sure make up with the donuts give them a try if you haven't you won't be disappointed at all and I can be a pretty tough customer or so I have been told. One last thing the people are very kind that's where I get a bit grouchy if people are jerks I fire right back.

If you know, you know. I do not think (my opinion) no one has ever been disappointed when leaving here! Mouth watering donuts, cookies and pastries. When I say run to get you one, I mean run! :)

Decent doughnuts. Just got the day'ol doughnuts today. They are still fresh and so much cheaper.
