Pease's at Bunn Gourmet

My favorite place to visit when I have a sweet tooth. The Raspberry Almond cake is the best and the slices are large enough to share! True definition of a Candy Shop. They are also a café but I’ve never tried their soups or sandwiches so I will be back for that.

Their candy, although more expensive, is delicious and beautiful to look at. I have a posted picture of a candy, caramel apple which is one of the best I remember having. We recently had some of their Easter candy and enjoyed the flavors and presentations. A couple months ago we tried the cafe inside for breakfast and found that very enjoyable. I would recommend this those who want presentation of the food to matter as much as the flavor.

This can be a nice quiet place for coffee, drinks and / or some desert. They do have some other food items on the menu, but I only got some chocolate cake to share with my wife for our 20th anniversary. It is a bit of a high-end place. They sell chocolate candy like fudge, for example. My wife and I go there for special occasions. When the weather is nice, go outside and there is usually a nice breeze through the buildings that is nice with the music playing.

Just found my new favorite lunch spot! The food was SO GOOD. So many different candies & sweet to look at, cute gift items, & got to enjoy the patio area on the last nice day of the season! Can't go wrong here.

This place look like fairytale castle with filled with lot of chocolates. Ambience was very creative and attractive. Customer service was good. Not only chocolates and cakes, they have lot of variety coffees and surprisingly alcoholic beverages too, didn’t expect in a bakery though. We had Lemon Tart and house special pastry, both were very delicious. Would try other things too sooner.

Great drinks, great chocolate, and great service!

We stopped in for coffee dessert drinks. I got a raggedy ann frappe and it was delicious! We got a couple small boxes of mixed chocolates and they were all very good but I loved the lemon filled one the most! That was surprisingly good!

I love that they sell alcohol here too. Pretty unique. If I lived in the area, I would definitely meet up with friends here.

What a gem of a place! Great selection of food, cakes, desserts and coffee.

The food and pastries are delicious. My favorite is the lemon tart. The staff are extremely nice and accommodating.

Wonderful place for entertainment and good times. We didn't eat there. We listened to the Samba Llamas who were great!

Went in early to purchase 3 boxes of truffles as gifts. The recipients were delighted with the quality and the dark chocolate/raspberry truffle I had was scrumptious.

2/5/2024: Went for lunch for the second time in a couple of weeks. I had the smoked brisket which came with a dill pickle slice and chips. The sandwich was delicious with a sauce that had a pleasant spicy aftertaste. The pickle was crisp, cold, and nicely acidic. I'm not a fan of potato chips, but these are excellent. My wife had a black bean burger with a side salad, both of which she enjoyed. It's also a restaurant that's not noisy and no TV screens or other things to detract from the enjoyment of the food, and one is able to have a quiet conversation.

My kids really enjoy Freak Shake Friday where they feature two different extraordinary shakes. It tends to be very popular, but they have a great system in place. Neat atmosphere and lots of things to choose from food and drink wise. All types of candy. Outdoor seating is nice.

What a total gem! I was completely blown away by the inside! The chocolate/candy wall and bar were very impressive. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere wasn't your typical shopping center lunch spot. Definitely to there and check it out!

Such a neat place. Full of candy, gourmet desserts, and numerous drink ootions. The staff is friendly and accomidating.

This is a wonderful place located in the beautiful west side Gables! The staff and manager are great and really get to know you! Personal service and good food is what this cafe is all about! This is our first stop every morning. I can't say enough about Malinda, Hallie and Brad. With the attached Pease's store this is a definite destination you won't want to miss!

My daughter and I come in here for brunch and treats at least once a week. The staff is very cheerful, friendly, upbeat and ready to serve you. They treat my daughter like she's a star and the anesthetic is very candy shop willy Wonka style. They always have something new and yummy!

Stopped by Pease's at Bunn Gourmet and walked in wow from the front door. Been to a lot of sweet treat places, but this one tops the others. Staff is really friendly and there to help with the big options of selection. Iced latte was great and ice cream treats were good. Definitely suggest for a calm, yet pretty atmosphere and amazing treats.

I'm visiting from a major U.S. city and was pleasantly surprised to discover this place for some work, thanks to their complimentary Wi-Fi. They have chocolatiers crafting candies onsite, exceptional coffee, a wide array of decadent cakes made in-house, and a curated selection of regional craft beers. It's impressive to find such an establishment in Springfield. Highly recommended.
