Lockport Animal Hospital

I have been seeing Dr. DeMoor for 13 or so years now and I have never felt more lucky to have found someone like him. A good vet is hard to find. He is not only compassionate, honest and personable, but very knowledgeable and goes above and beyond. Will always be seeing him whenever I am in need of guidance for my critters. He will always keep you informed and armed with all information. The hospital is a beautiful facility with wonderful staff. I have never had a bad experience with anyone there. Highly recommend as a practice overall.

Just had an appointment with Dr. Scoma and it was great! He was very professional, yet easy to relate to. Helped me a lot with my dogs and is very knowledgeable. The tech with him was super nice and friendly and gave off amazing energy!

Dr. Scoma is informative, thorough & patient. He's friendly and takes the time to answer questions and fully assess our pup.
The office staff is prompt and friendly as well. Thanks for the great care!

When we first adopted our Brittany we were told by a friend to go to a place in Crestwood rather than taking her to a vet just a few blocks away. We've made that trek for years only to have an urgent situation where they told us that we can't bring her in for at least 10-days and that we should just go with urgent care. Yeah - we don't a spare $800 sitting around.
My wife contacted Lockport Animal Hospital and we were able to get in within a few hours and meet with Dr. Joe DeMoor. I like Dr. DeMoor. Knowledgeable, professional, and created a sense of calm for both me and my girl. I'd like to have a beer with the burly bearded dude (go ahead staff - have fun with that nickname). The facility is clean and professional. All staff seemed very nice and helpful.
Dr. DeMoor helped my Brittany out and got her back to full strength within a few hours. I am extremely happy with Lockport Animal Hospital and Dr. DeMoor for taking a new patient in and taking very good care of her. They have earned our loyalty and business.

Recently got a puppy, Rosie, took her here for shots and check up. I was very impressed by their service. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

We have been bringing our dog to this vet for over 4 years, since he was a little puppy. They have always treated Kevin with care and compassion. As you can probably tell from the pictures, Kevin isn't a big fan of going to the doctor.

We are lucky that Kevin has had a relatively healthy life to this point. His only procedure was his neutering, which went very smoothly.

My 13 yr old dog needed to see a doctor asap and my current veterinary clinic couldn’t see her. Lockport Animal Hospital was able to see her and diagnose her issue with care and kindness.

Great staff , great doctor . Took care of my dogs well … number one vet in my book.

I was not sure if I had a pawmergency or just a minor pawblem. I am glad they do whatever they can to fit in an appointment. This level of care makes it possible to sleep better at night when your dog is old and a bit creaky.

Calm and compassionate is what comes to mind when I think of Lockport Animal Hospital. The entire staff is amazing. Highly recommended.

Couldn't be happier with the care our Australian Shepherd has received here. Both doctors go the extra mile to make sure their patients are cared for and that the owners have full understanding of what is going on. So happy we made the switch here. Our dog loves the staff.

Update: We are now on our 2nd Aussie at Lockport Animal Hospital and the entire staff continues to be outstanding. Not only were they caring and gentle when we had to put our 1st boy down, they have been amazingly attentive to our current dog., even getting us in urgently for a recent medical emergency. They are friendly, helpful and genuinely care about our fur babies. Highly recommend.

Never have I ever expected an animal clinic to send cards in spring time only ever around the holidays as a possible reminder of said pet getting their next vaccination and today i received a condolences card from the entire staff of this hospital ,it honestly made my mother and myself cry after grieving over our beloved dog

Dr Joe DeMoor is the best, he has been caring of our companions for many years. He takes his time with us, offers multiple treatment alternatives/options. He is very knowledgeable, stays up to date on veterinary science and best practices; he is very passionate and compassionate. The staff/techs are super sweet and professional. Would definitely recommend this veterinarian.

Love how kind and thoughtful the doctors and staff are. Prices are reasonable. Great clinic to have so close by.

Everyone at Lockport animal hospital is amazing! Highly recommend taking your animals there! My cat Summer is pretty difficult and they were so great with her!

I've been taking my 3 cats (and now dog) to Dr. Caffarini for over 13 years! He & all the staff & doctors have taken such good care of my fur babies. When my Miss Kitty was diagnosed with cancer, they took good care of her & kept in contact with the cancer vet. They helped me thru that horrible process. Lockport Animal Hospital has a caring & loving staff! They take their time with your fur babies & are patient with all your questions. And we love the new building!
