Very quite and comfortable place to learn about Helen's life. Staff gave us a tour, which was very nice. I absolutely recommend it.

Helen Keller’s Birthplace is such a beautiful place. You can walk around the sidewalk path around the outside and there are some monuments and things you can look at. There are signs that tell you that admission is charged beyond that point like if you walk through the little gate. It is a BEAUTIFUL yard and I highly recommend at least riding by to take a picture if you are in the area, which is what we did. It was such a nice place!!

The tour was so informative and our tour guide was very knowledgeable. She kept the attention of my 8 and 10 year old. I’ve always known who Hellen Keller was but I left here with a whole new respect for her. Highly recommend visiting if you’re in the area.

Such a humble beginning for a world renowned woman! Be sure to take in all of the grounds and listen to the docent. She was a wealth of knowledge! I wish there had been a souvenir of getting your name done in braille.

Wonderfully serene and peaceful space. Whether it looked this way when Keller was born, they have incorporated a number of features such as presents from Lions Clubs from across the world that magnify the impact she has across the world. There is a fee for admission into the home but no fee to walk the grounds.

Very interesting and peaceful place. The people who work here are so nice and informative. They often will give a “tour” which is basically a talk introducing you to the site and what there is to see. Overall, a very nice stop and worth the visit if you’re in the area.

We were not able to take the tour due to it being closed, but we walked around and it was absolutely breathtakingly beautiful grounds. I loved all the old trees and landscape; very peaceful. What an honor to be able to be there.

Great little place. Can walk around some of the grounds for free. Didn't go in the house. Kinda wish I did. Had to be somewhere else at a specific time. If in the area, I recommend it

I went with my wife and she love the history of the place. It was really cool to see and hear about Helen Keller. Lot of interesting facts. Plus my favorite thing on the property was the Moon tree. It was cool to see something that had gone to space and back to be planted at a historical place.

We have visited the Helen Keller birthplace from time to time during the presentstion of The Miracle Worker play that festures the early life of Helen and her teacher, Anne Sullivan. We go a few minutes early and visit the grounds and the buildings and displays on the property. The property is well maintained and cared for and the displays are neat. The play is always outstanding, they have been performing it for over 60 years and the characters are extraordinary! The stage area is very nice, they offer reserved seating as well as general admission and they had a full house. The ptesentation is so real life and the details give a little insight into the struggle thst the family, Helen and her teacher had to endure to develop her talents. There are funny moments but the scenes of the accompplishments will bring tears to your eyes. I recommend this if you enjoy viewing great presentations!

We had visited before, but took our grandchild to visit. She is 8. We watched The Miracle Worker before we went and she really loved the site. We spent about 2-1/2 hours there. It was a warm sunny day and we all had a great time.

Helen Keller is one of the most inspiring women in history, and her birthplace is certainly worth a visit. Her story comes to life at her childhood home. The home is furnished and stocked with authentic pieces originally belonging to Helen and her family. A museum room contains a vast array of intriguing artifacts: letters, books, photographs, etc. In addition, the tour hostess provides a richly detailed history of Helen's experiences in the home. The pinnacle moment is going out to the yard to see the famous water pump.
