Quaint little restaurant with lots of personality. The staff is friendly and you will find Tim, the owner in the kitchen letting you know what is good on the menu and coming out to talk to his customers.
The Half Rack of Ribs (6 large, cut, enough for two people) are cooked tender and moist to perfection. The hot BBQ is just hot enough, it has a bite but doesn’t linger.
The Fried Sguash is deep fried at exactly the right temperature to seal in the taste and keep the outside brown and crispy without a hint of grease.
Potato Babies are small potatoes wedges with a light batter and salted just right. Again, not greasy at all. They were as light as a baked potato.
I will definitely return to try more items on this menu and visit with the staff and regular customers. Very friendly atmosphere. It’s hard to find this kind of place anymore.

BBQ PORK SALAD
I wasn’t impressed with this salad. I did get take out but only had a five minute drive home. The meat was very tender and chopped in perfect per portion bites but the sauce was too much and over powering. That was all I could taste was sauce. It also had **raw onions and cheese. Half way through eating, the lettuce was soggy and standing in water. I don’t know if this is usual or if the meat may have been too hot.
Two large salads and two large drinks $20.00

Tender and juicy whole chickens smoked to perfection. Pork roast was Tender, but very fatty. We tried both the barbecue sauces.I preferred the spicier sauce, but they were both delicious sauces. 😋

It gets no better than Tim's Walk Hard BB-Q. From the minute you open the door and step into a smoked culinary delight for more than just your tastebuds. It is a delight for all your senses. Tim is a great guy who makes me feel as if I'm catching up with an old friend as I place my order with Penny, she's fast and friendly and never gets my order wrong. The barbecue is out of this world!

Best barbecue, in an unlikely place. We were in the area unexpectedly and were extremely hungry. First the amazing smell of barbecue cooking on the huge grill outside caught our attention. We went inside and it smelled just as wonderful. You order your food at the counter and when it's ready they bring it to your table. For $7.00 we had a barbecue pork plate with fried okra, slaw and Texas Toast and it was delicious, down to the last bite. They have everything from pork, chicken, beef or ribs, all at extremely reasonable prices and everyone there was friendly and made us feel at home. If you live in the area or you are passing through, as we were, Walk Hard BBQ is worth the stop.

We made a 25mile detour to get there, and didn't regret it. Best BBQ ribs I had in a long time! Mr. Tim, please keep it up! I promise, I will be back!

You can't beat their chopped pork sandwich, I only visit when we deer hunt so I haven't had a chance to try their brisket but I'm looking forward to it.

The restaurant isn't fancy but the meats were very good.

Been eating Tims BBQ for years and so has my family. When it comes to BBQ, ITS ALWAYS WALK HARD.

Best BBQ in Leesburg. Excellent BBQ pork sandwiches, fries are good, and they have fried pies. Tea was fresh. It was busy during lunch, but not a long wait. The dining area and tables were clean. Consistently serves good food.

The food was AMAZING!!!! The ppl r friendly n nice. For my first time eva being here in Alabama the BBQ was on point. I wish I could come bk to get some more. Keep up the gr8 work. N I will stop by again in the future. 10/10

The barbecue was delicious! Tender with great seasoning and smoky flavor! Had fried okra and fried squash for sides, also delicious! The sauce is as advertised……Come back sauce. We will be back for more soon!

Love the bbq here. Been coming here for years. Glad to see them move to the larger location across the street. Store could use just a lil more freshening up though inside

Best BBQ in the area. Simple small laid back environment with good smoke pork, chicken and ribs are perfect. Eat there about 3 to 4 times a month and always really good. Tim and his crew are friendly and helpful. Want go wrong here.

Definitely a hidden gem. Fast super friendly service, nice atmosphere, and delicious food. The tater babies alone were worth the trip.

Wow! I’m so glad I drove out of the way to his place! He is in a Documentary regarding BBQ places in the state of Alabama and he is in the intro! His food is so good you’ll definitely wanna return! I ordered the Pork Plate with an extra side and the Grand Prize, Banana Pudding! The Cole Slaw, Baked Beans, Potato Salad, and the Pulled Pork that looks like mini squares was a Home Run! Great Advertising Mr. Tim! You have definitely Walked Hard into Success! God Bless!
