We dined here on Valentine’s Day. I had the blackened salmon with lemon orzo and Parmesan green beans. My husband had the seafood ravioli. Both were delicious! The Girl Scout Cookie cheesecakes were the perfect dessert. The surprise of the evening was a Coconut Porter. I believe it is seasonal, but next time they brew it, definitely try it. I don’t like coconut or Porters and we bought the last 5 bottles to take home because we lived it so much! I’ve never gotten anything to eat here that hasn’t been absolutely delicious!

You should definitely check out this place! It has incredible urban-vintage atmosphere! The building looks old and has a lot of history for shure. The food menu is very interesting, not common. Their beer cheese is something 🤤 And beer of course 😋 The service is very attentive and very pleasant. I am looking forward to visit more!

Every time i visit DuQuoin Illinois, I make a stop at St. Nicks.
The beer is excellent. The people are kind and courteous. The Brewer is cool.

My 1st visit was only a month ago.... Saturday, Jan. 21 was my 3rd! St. Nicholas Brewry has quickly become one of my favorite places to dine. Each visit was outstanding! We had a large group (We were celebrating 3 birthdays - children included) on Saturday and every single person was very happy with their food, service and the fun atmosphere. Our server (young man, I unfortunately cannot remember his name) was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. He even offered to take our group pictures.
Thank you for another great dining experience!!

This was my first time here with a friend! Had an excellent time. We almost stayed from lunch to dinner. The staff was so welcoming. Try the new dessert board, you won't be sorry!

The repurposing of the Saint Nicholas Hotel first floor has become a tremendous addition to the Township of Du Quoin.

The main floor has become not only a well organized restaurant with an exciting menu but also added a Brewing Company. This endeavor combining these two elements was an excellent plan.

To support this endeavor is their well appreciated and most friendly staff in serving their guests.

Now, I have yet to meet the Chef and Kitchen Staff, but, can happily say, from the samplings I have tried on the menu, they are doing a commendable service; and, from what I have heard from the other people dining here, they too agree with my evaluation and personal opinion.

Thanks to this establishment for making this possible.

. My wife & I have eaten there twice. Both times steaks were cooked perfectly the way we ordered. This was the place that introduced me to fried Brussels sprouts with bacon & vinaigrette sauce. Since then I’ve tried them at 5+ places. St. Nicks has the best. The decor is definitely interesting and they have onsite micro brewery. I’m not a big drinker but wife’s martini was pretty good (to me at least-she said it was great). I did have a Bloody Mary & it was the 2nd best I’ve ever had (the #1 will only be replaced if the bar in Carbondale burns down lol). This is definitely becoming a regular spot for us. Most of the menu is actually burgers but we get steaks.

We just stopped here in the way back from Murphysboro and oh my goodness! Food and service were amazing! I recommend the Mac n cheese pizza, fried pickles and fried mushrooms. Beer was excellent too.

Sitting on the patio with live music. Pint of bacon was enough for 11 of us to each have some. I ordered the sweet potato fries as an appetizer which came with a great flavoured sauce. The appetizers for 11 came out fast. The mushroom fries served with a sriracha aioli were a good blend of crispy, earthy mushroom and creamy sauce. The macho nacho was overwhelmingly huge but good for our big group. So many beers "tasted". Service was exemplary and fast provided by Megan and Abby

We have been to St. Nick's a handful of times for drinks and lunch/apps and always enjoyed the experience. Their Valentine's special looked really nice and it delivered! We absolutely enjoyed every aspect of the meal; the drinks (Black & blue wine and a Cranberry ginger beer), starter (portabella mushroom with creamed artichoke & spinach), salads, entree (maple bourbon salmon w/twice baked loaded potato & fillet medallions w/shrimp - just sooo good - and rice pilaf), and dessert (crème brûlée). It was a meal to remember and we would highly recommend them for any meal or even just for drinks! Another great local place in Southern Illinois!

One of the nicest craft brewing restaurants around. The owners are very friendly as are the staff. The food is reasonably priced and good sized, delicious portions. Definitely a go to with friends and family.

TO the Owner, your Team is exceptional. We love all 3 locations!!!

Really cool place, clean, great food, and friendly staff. The server gave us us some background on the historical building and it was a great story. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was unique.

Our first time here and it easily just became my favorite! 🥇 Shoutout to our waitress, Kelsey, she was incredible! the food was amazing. a unique menu, fresh and healthy options, and beautiful presentation. and AFFORDABLE! we took advantage of the half priced appetizers, 2 meals + kids meal, a flight, AND a root beer float. GRILLED ROMAINE CEASER WAS DELICIOUS! With polenta croutons. The outdoor seating area is so comfy and nice. This place has history, eclectic flair, and is truly a hidden gem in small town Southern IL. 10/10 recommend.

I was highly impressed with the food, beers, and service. I was skeptical when my oldest friends recommended this place. I haven't lived in So. Ill for many years.
The beers were right up there with any craft beers I have had across the US, including California and Texas.
Take some time and drag some friends with you to this gem.
