Humphrey's

This place might be my new favorite burger place. I ordered the cowboy. It had lots of bacon, cheese, tons of caramelized onions, and BBQ sauce. I’m not sure what type of beef they used but it reminded me of snake River farms beef. It was so amazingly flavorful and juicy. The onions were perfectly cooked teaming up with the tower of bacon. The bun was also extremely fresh a soft.

The French fries we good sized and heavily seasoned. They came out nice and hot. We also got an order of onion rings. They were bomb as well. They had a nice thin breading on them and the serving size was more than I was expecting. I look forward to trying out other items on the menu. If you are looking for a good burger definitely stop here.

They also have a great looking drink menu.

All I can say is Wow! What a phenomenal experience and delicious Steak dinner. We had the incredible 16-18 ounce Ribeye with Garlic Mashed Potatoes and large salad. The steak was seasoned just right and cooked to absolute perfection. We sat outside on the deck and enjoyed the fresh air and great music. Tori, our extraordinary waitress, took great care of us. She is a top-notch waitress! Please stop by grab a fabulous steak and please ask for Tori. We will definitely be back and highly recommend the Humprey's American Grill.

Saturday around noon and surprisingly not crowed. I had the mushroom Swiss burger, which I inhaled before I thought of taking the picture. (Oops) It was cooked just over medium. The bun was also grilled and loaded with swiss and mushrooms! Delicious!! My friend had the buffalo chicken sandwich, it was huge and you can order the buffalo sauce to the heat you desire (pictured). The mozzarella sticks were fat and full of melted mozzarella! You get 5 of those monsters. (Pictured)
We dined outside and it was a nice place to sit and relax. Good music playing. Plenty of room to dine. Waitress was prompt and courteous. Will return again I want to try the catfish platter.

I don't know how they do it, but everything on the menu is great, from burgers to pizza and even a ribeye and a filet. Their 2 steaks on the menu have been said to be better than some steak house's.

I loved this place so much!!!! I came from out of town and had no idea where to eat. My mom and I choose this place. Now, it was surprising that it was a literal bar but I have no complaints!!!! That was probably the best burger I’ve ever eaten! Another thing, these were the first loaded fries that I did not need ranch with. They were absolutely amazing .Our waiter was fabulous !!!! You could tell that she loved her job and the people around her. I wish we had more waiters like her! I didn’t catch her name but she has a beautiful smile with black hair. I recommend anyone to try this place out!

Delicious food at a good price, the burger was gigantic and the bacon-wrapped steak was delicious. Fries were tasty and the Mac and Cheese was rich and cheesey. Our server was very helpful! Salad was good. My one complaint was it was little too loud for a bit, with the music and a ton of people talking. But it toned down later on.

Food - Let me start by saying that their food embodies the word "Gargantuan." It's always hot, always fresh, always good, and always enormous. I've gotten they Gyro and The Full Monty. They're both delicious. I don't love their onion rings but my friends do so I'll give them that. My only criticism, and this is really for the restaurant to see, is please put more jam on the burgers and more uniformly. Overall delicious.

Service - The staff is always accommodating and friendly to me, is neutral at worst, but never rude.

Atmosphere - It's a college bar restaurant, enough said. Nothing remarkable other than their support of Sam Houston University.

A coworker and I stopped in for some drinks and had a good time. The bartender was awesome. Kind of small inside but they have a nice deck outside with plenty of tables and a chill vibe

Classic American bar and grill in a small college town. The staff was friendly and quick, the taste was pretty good. The atmosphere is loud music, optional indoor or outdoor seating, covered or open patio. 90's music was playing when we were there.

I’ve eaten here many times! The appetizers are hands down some of the best! The service is good! They are super busy no matter when you go . Both with the older & younger crowd.

We ended up here because the place we were headed to was closed and I’m so glad!! We sat outside on the patio and I loved that off the bat. The girls waiting were super sweet and attentive. Didn’t rush us and made sure we were ok the whole time and even made conversation which I appreciated as opposed to being just a table they had to serve. You can tell they enjoy their job and customers. The food…. We were VERY happy with! Quality ingredients in great dishes. My boyfriend got the nachos appetizer which was a meal in itself and he couldn’t stop eating them because they were so good! I had the mushroom burger after lots of internal debate because so much on the menu sounded amazing, and there wasn’t a single thing wrong with it. I actually get mushroom Swiss burgers almost anywhere they have them and this is the best I’ve had anywhere. My boyfriend also got the steak burger. An actual steak on a burger. He loved it as well and said he will be bringing coworkers back there to eat. We will definitely be back!

Pick this sports bar, it's Fantastic! Nachos had delicious chicken and lots of it! Queso, pico and guacamole. By far the best I've ever had. Artichoke dip, very good and look at the stack of pita. Draft selection was only ok, but they were lightening getting them out.

First time being back in over 12 years. Food was delicious!

Service was great. Food was great. Seemed pricey until food arrived. Lot of food. My son did not finish his got the burger down but not much of his frys or fried Pickles. I just was able to finish my catfish. onion rings and hush puppies. All was very good and worth the price. Great portions. Only down tick was had to eat outside. Inside was full. And it was a little chilly.

Never had a bad meal here. Solid place to grab some beers and/or some grub.

Food is fantastic! Portions are very generous! Our waitress was very good & kept on top of checking in often to ask if anything was needed. Great little place!

Excellant food, service, atmosphere. Burgers are all gr8, with fries or onion rings. Tried steak nite last time and it was superb, with a baked potato n veggies. It can get a little close in there but not much different than Sunday dinner at granma's. Oh, plenty of big screens too, so you don't miss your favorite game. Anyday is HUMPday... poppop

I love to drive from home to Huntsville Texas to eat here worth the ride.Best fish and shrimp and great atmosphere.

MY first time going to Humphreys, it was great. Didn't realize it was a sports bar vibe, but it was good. Everything we ordered was 10/10. I will be back 😁

I LOVE this restaurant!! It’s a great college town restaurant/bar with plenty of televisions to watch popular sporting events. The food (especially the hamburgers) is excellent!! Great value for the money. Cold beer (most of the time). Service can be sluggish but all servers are friendly. Restrooms are always clean. One of the very few complaints is that the parking lot is like driving through a minefield. Potholes are abundant and deep! I actually lost the front spoiler on my car after driving into a pothole covered with water. Not cool. Other than that — I will still be a return customer.
