Chips and salsa to start. I ordered the grilled chicken on brioche with seasoned fries. The Hubby had his favorite chicken fried steak, fries, with side salad. The key lime pie was key limey and delicious for dessert. Awesome food with awesome service. They have an entire dessert cooler that showcases the desserts. All different types of desserts to choose from pecan pies to banana pudding to cream pies. Definitely will revisit.

The okra tasted fresh and the breading was not too thick.
The real winners were our pies—key lime and vinegar pecan. Two totally different flavors.
A buttermilk cream pecan flavor was unique.
The key lime pie was indescribably fruity.
Must try—if you like either—or whatever is your favorite flavor.

Great place to eat with family and friends. The staff are always nice and the food is always freshly prepared and tasty. I got the steak fingers, and they were not full of gristle and breaded with an inch of batter. They were perfectly battered, tender, and tasty. I get them every time and am never disappointed.

The food is wonderful. We tried almost all the appetizers and were not disappointed.
I was not sold by the chicken fried steak (despite being the one that made them won awards), but everything else was so delicious, that they still deserve 5 stars.

We had a great visit to City Hall Cafe and Pie Bar today! The service was excellent, and everything we had to eat was so good. The decor is super fun, and very Texan. Both of our meals were very good, but we especially enjoyed the bacon and cheese potato wedges and the key lime pie. The fresh lemonade was great as well! I would recommend this spot to anyone in the Huntsville area, and would definitely return!

Great food, friendly staff, quick service, and great desserts. Oh, and best Purina ever (have to visit to get that one).

City hall Cafe, simple, elegant and affordable. They offer beautiful service, the food is just on point, my favorite is the spaghetti with meat sauce Tuesday special, yummy!!😋. It's easily accessible with a moderate car pack.

My husband and I stopped in for a quick dinner on our way home. They were short staffed due to the horrible weather we have had. They mentioned not expecting as many guest as they had that evening, but I have to say. They sat us quickly and were very attentive! Our waiter Mason was super busy but never failed to check on us. He even took the time to tell us what pies they had for dessert! I had the key lime pie. I have to say, that was one of the best I've had. I've even had key lime from Key West ans this one was top notch! My husband had apple pie and said it was amazing! We were impressed with our spur of the moment dinner spot. Great job!

Good food and wonderful service. Nice variety on menu. My nephew ate every single thing that he ordered, which is a miracle. Atmosphere is cool. If you grew up in south, especially in Texas, you will find something from your childhood on the walls or in the decor. Not overly loud or crowded.
Pie offerings are excellent and what we tasted rivaled grandma's. Had pecan, vinegar pecan pies and chocolate cake...yum!

I am out here celebrating my birthday out in Huntsville and decided to try this place. It's was a great experience thank you to Brooke for taking great care of us. The restaurant was clean, the food was amazing. They have the best chicken fried steak and fried pickles. If your in the area give this place a try.

This was a fun place. Surrounded by endless curio’s made waiting for food peaceful. Folks visited casually. Great conversations & laughter. They gladly accommodated our Service Dog. Food was well prepared. Great experience.

We arrived at about 4:40 in the afternoon. This was the perfect time as it was nearly empty. Our waitress was very friendly. Big variety to order from on the menu. We ordered the dinner special. Chicken fried chicken with your choice of a side. We chose mashed potatoes. We also got TBC sandwich, and potato wedges. It was really good. We were brought the dessert menu and after a great deal of thought, I chose the salted caramel pecan pie. Sounded so good. Unfortunately it is a seasonal pie. This was not on the menu as such. There were several items they were out of. We decided on buttermilk pie and coconut cream. Great service, good food, and we paid about $30 for 2 meals and 1 beverage. They paid for the pies, since they were out of my first choice. I would come back here.

The service was great and the food even better. The menu has much to choose from and is reasonably priced. The portions are also quite adequate. The only problem is deciding what to order. This is a nice environment and great place to take your family.

The BBQ Boss burger was amazing! Great flavor and some of the best bacon I've had on a burger in a very long time. We tried to order the Blood Orange margarita but they had sold out some of the ingredients so we chose the Pineapple Jalapeno Margarita and Caribbean Margarita instead. They were, hands down, some of the best margaritas we've EVER had and are reason enough for a trip to Huntsville. We picked a "pie flight" to sample several flavors. The Key Lime was OK but lacked the citrus "zing" that I look for in a great Key Lime Pie. Likewise, the Pumpkin Pie wasn't particularly pumpkin flavored. The Vinegar Pecan was ok. It seemed they all were in pre-made, commercial pie crust and wasn't particularly memorable. Still, we'll be back - especially for the margaritas!

What an adorable spot! A friend and I stopped by before leaving town to head home. We began with potato wedges topped with melted cheese and bacon (served with ranch for dipping). Those really hit the spot! The guacamole was a refreshing surprise. It's more like diced avocado with onion, chiles tossed with some lemon juice. It's chunky, not mashed. It's really good. For my entrée I ordered chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and corn casserole. Our server said that the corn casserole is spicy. I didn't think so, but I like spicy foods. The chicken fried steak was breaded perfectly. Not too much breading - nice and crispy. It is a very generous portion. I took half of it home. Our entrees were served with a roll. Our server brought us some cinnamon butter that she said is better than Texas Road House. She was right! It was delicious! More cinnamon flavor. Oh, that sweet tea! Whew! IT IS SWEET! But, it is good. It's not like most sweet teas. You get a taste of a particular tea flavor at the end. I don't know what it is, but it's good. (Just remember, it is SWEET!)

Stopped on our way home from Galveston. Food was good. Service was good. Will stop again. We spent $68 it was 3 of us we all got a burger meal including a starter.

Food was yummy home style cooking. Apple pie was delicious. Love it's country style. They have a room for gatherings holds up to 100 at NO charge. Thought that was great for last minute get together. Pies are delicious. Place is so cozy.
