Dos Juanes Mexican Restaurant and Mini

Food was so good I had to ask for another serving to take home to eat for dinner.

The food here was so good. My husband and I were traveling from Austin to Tyler. We happened across this restaurant by chance. Very much down home... home cooking type of place. Nothing fancy! Bet everything full of flavor and made from scratch! My husband ordered the enchilada plate with carne asada. I chose the Gordito plate. One with chicken the other with asada. Would go back if we are ever in the area! Thank you for the great meal and friendly service.

We were blown away at how great the food was here. Our server was great. They also had lots of cool decor/things for sale.

This was a lucky find on our trip from Tyler to San Antonio. This is a clean little restaurant with good service and delicious food. The chips were made fresh along with the chili relleno that happened to be one of the best I've ever had. They also have a variety of Mexican items for sale. We'll definitely stop by on our next trip!

I ordered a Torta! It was very delicious! You can add your choice of meat, mine was beef fajita Great choice! Very good! Definitely Recommend!

The moment I smelt the food cooking, I knew we made a great decision. The service was friendly and the food was tasty. I will definitely be back.

We had the meal that is not on the menu, but there’s a picture of it (can’t remember what it’s called, but they said it means “sandal”)(not chancla). It was delicious! The service is good. They are obviously overwhelmed with the influx of people, especially in a small town like MC. The salsa was pretty warm (spicy). The chips are phenomenal, probably the best I’ve had anywhere. It’s definitely not typical Tex Mex, which for me is refreshing. Something authentic is nice for a change. This will probably become a regular spot for us.

Great tacos. Friendly, came in at 10 till close and asked if it was too late and they said no, and happily took my order. The spicy red sauce is awesome.

We came in for fried pies as we have heard about them from long ago. They not only had them, but they made them fresh for us! We got to enjoy local company while we waited.

Great little restaurant, we stop by on the way through town. Nice people, fair prices, big portions, great food. Beware, the burritos are massive. :-)
