NCG Cinema - Spartanburg

Saw the new Hunger Games movie here. The movie was good, but so was the theater. The seats are cozy and recline, and the theater is clean and in good shape. There are great concession options and free refills on popcorn. They also have coke freestyles! There were also not many previews before the movie, unlike other theaters which have 30 minutes of adds. Will be back!

This is by far THE best venue to watch a movie in Upstate South Carolina. I've been to over 100 across the USA and confidently say this one is my favorite because of the reserved seating, lazy boy recliners, wide arm rests, free refills for popcorn & soda, great location, large parking lot, high quality screens, and extremely nice staff. Had i not moved away from Spartanburg I would be there biweekly as I was back in '18. Last bit - compared to other major chains, they had the coolest popcorn buckets and drink cups.

I came down tonight from NC for the first time & loved it! Comfy, reclining seats! LOTS of refreshments available in the lobby. Friendly staff also! I felt comfortable in the theater even though someone was seated next to me that wasn't with us. Seats are spacious & I love how I can bring a blanket in too 🙌

Love this place! Great deals and prices on everything.
The only downside is that not all the chairs are in working condition.
But other than that, it's amazing. I will be going there and nowhere else for my movie experiences.

This place is beautiful. I used to go there many years ago when it was the $2 movie theater. It's upgrades are amazing and them seats are not made for watching movies, ask the ppl around me. I had a long day and my family wanted to go to the movies. So it was sit in the truck or go inside. I went in with my granddaughter and she had to continually wake me because I was snoring loudly. I was fine but the other guest where laughing harder at me than Barbie. Thanks NCG Cinema - Spartanburg

This place is nice and clean. The chairs recline but it is very little. I was comfortable but my husband wasn’t. So to each their own on that. The sound system is very loud and clear. The screens are big and nice. They could stand to have more concession options. The parking lot isn’t great and fills up very quickly. All in all a good experience.

Love the seats, they are getting old though. Good popcorn and a big screen. Plus they don't check bags. You feel at home in NCG

The best theater around to my knowledge. Still leaves a bit to be desired. Their new chairs are already showing some wear and tear, and the employees I encountered were apathetic.

We love this movie theater. Planing to go is Christmas or the day after. The workers are so helpful.. we do have trouble with the seating. The ones at the cash register don't display the seating in the theater

This is the best theater!! We drive all the way across town, past our nearest theater, this is the only place we will go. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Free popcorn refills! The seats are a leather like material, not those scratchy fabric seats. The best part is they recline and there is lots of space in between rows. The atmosphere is relaxing and enjoyable to watch the best movies on the big screen!

The worker Keelin is incredible. He is extremely helpful and was nice enough to follow special requests. He is the best worker anywhere I’ve ever seen. Please give him a raise / promotion.

Not your normal dirty old chair smelly theater.
Fit for customers with some class and willing to help keep it looking great.

Always clean and cool can recline and relax and enjoy there prices for food are high they say you get a refill but you also have to pay for those other than that fine I always take a can drink and candy from the dollar store with us

Pretty cool movie theater we went late at night and it seemed like a lot of people were movie hopping, they don’t check your tickets

Large, comfortable seats, and well run.
The only movie theater we have used for years.

Had a great time at NCG today with my girls. We enjoyed a double feature-The theater is very comfortable and clean! We also enjoyed a delicious bucket of popcorn!

Fantastic. Very clean. This theatre has the most comfortable seats in all of Spartanburg, as far as movie theatres go; they have recliners with footrests. Prices are extremely reasonable and the value is good. This is my favorite theatre for good reason and the one I check first. Recommend buying tickets on their site in advance as they can sell out fast for popular shows due to their fantastic comfort level. (As of writing, there is no surcharge or online fee for this.) They also have relatively reasonable concession prices, which is shocking.
