The Meriwether Market

Dang! When this shop was under previous ownership, we used to stop in for cokes or ice cream after adventures with our little ones at Meriwether Lewis. Today we had a hankering for ice cream and were curious about how the place had been re-done. It's so clean and cozy! It was neat to see some organic items in there. We LOVED the ice cream, and the ribs smoked earlier today were the best we've had in quite a while. We'll be back for ice cream and ribs asap!

I stopped at Meriwether Market to get an energy drink, and man, this isn't your normal snack stop. They had some delicious-looking food (smoked meats) and sandwiches. The folks are super nice and friendly. I'll be back to sample the menu soon.

The area is always clean, & the omelet I got was really good! The lady even gave my daughter ideas for a party.
A friend use to own this place but he passed away. They have made some changes & so far I still like it!

Fresh, made-to-order on the griddle right in front of you. Hefty portion size which is so rare in the age of shrinkflation. I don’t live near here but highly recommend for anyone passing through.

As a nomad on a bicycle, I was so grateful to find this place while staying at Meriwether Lewis campground. The lady made me 2 great big smoked baloney sandwiches so I'll have something to eat in my tent without cooking during an all day rain. I cheated and ate the first one last night and she definitely understood my love of pickles. The sandwiches were made with so much care, I literally got a pickle in every bite.

Loved this stop. We stopped in twice. We bought several local grocery items and some hot meals. Highly recommend.

Well stopped in n got a great chicken salad sandwich n a soda. Oh potato salad side n they were both awesome! Desert was ice cream and another 5 star hit! The folks there guessing the owners we awesome too! Well worth the drive!

Love, love, love this place! It is a deli and country store combination. The owner was working when we were there and made some great recommendations for our sandwiches. They were absolutely delicious! If you are ever on the upper portion of The Natchez Trace, stop by. It is located only a couple of miles from the highway. You won't be sorry!

This place is worth it, it's small has the basics but omg the chicken wings that they sell were the best I have ever had so far, so much flavor and juicyness

This store is so awesome! The people are always so friendly. They have great sandwiches, hand dipped ice cream, and just an all around great atmosphere!! All yall campers just remember, they will have anything you need!

Very friendly, clean store. The prices are a little high, but it's in the middle of nowhere.
