Milliken Field

Beautiful, gorgeous, peaceful area. It is really nice that a place like that can be enjoyed for free, wow.
It is a great walk surrounded by beautiful nature. Ponds, trees, creek and lots of green.
I would have appreciated a bench here and there but I guess that's a lot to ask. Either way it is worth visiting 100%.

So peaceful. A great place to relax, grab a blanket and picnic and watch the birds. We took our young boys for a walk and to kick a ball around. The grass is tall and not taken care of but it's okay. I love the escape into nature with all the beautiful trees and calm water. Def a place I plan to come back to

Beautiful place! We were there for a cross country running meet/competition so it was very crowded but the grounds were gorgeous. Wonderful place to run. Ample parking. Gorgeous landscaping that is well maintained. Can't wait to come back again.

I always love going here. I have great memories visiting here as a child to feed the ducks and I’ve done the same with my own children. Great property, lots of animals (ducks, geese, and other various wildlife). Lots of shaded areas for hot days, trails, and huge open fields for kids to play. Just make sure you leave as soon as the sun goes down! Security pulled up to my car just as we were getting packed up a couple nights ago 😬

As a first time visitor, I was a bit confused as how to access the park. I noticed cars parked along the side of Milliken road and so I just went along and did the same ☺ [note: I also read a TripAdvisor review and the reviewer said he trekked through the trees. This gave me the confidence to at least try and not feel like I was trespassing....].

Where I parked, I needed to cross a ditch-like- divide. I guess it was part of the adventure. When I made it safely across, the grassy expanse was amazing. There were only two other human sightings, so on a Sunday morning I am guessing it's not too busy. I felt comfortable and even compelled to dip my feet in the mini-babbling brook.

Beautiful peaceful area to sit , walk and for picnic, plenty of parking !!!

Side of the highway. Free parking available. Small ponds with goose. Green field . Playing with kids.

Realllllly enjoyed my first visit here. They just need to cut that damn grass 😁😁😁 but obviously no one had a problem walking through it.... I did but I enjoyed the great adventures and the trails once getting over the grass. Good walking trails and many trees to relax in between

Beautiful piece of the planet right in Spartanburg! Lots of birds and trees (some with labels as to variety and range). Really nice afternoon walk on the day after Christmas 2020.

Walked this place yesterday. Very peaceful and beautiful! Kind of hard to get there though; if you never been there. Would definitely go back!

Nice and peaceful.. took our 4 legged
children for a walk, then found a nice place to sit in the shade and relax.

Very nice area with multiple ponds. Also has trails and a fountain. Great place to have a picnic!

A nice open space of grassy fields and man made lakes with plenty of trees to provide shade
