Beautiful little trail off the Natchez Trace parkway to the waterfall. Easy climb down from the path to the bottom of the falls and creek with my three and four year old. We did encounter a copperhead near one of the footbridges, so don’t forget to be mindful of snakes!

Beautiful waterfall and area. Previous reviews are accurate, the rock steps down to the base of the falls were crumbling and a little slick. DEFINITELY watch out for snakes. We encountered 2 in less than 5 minutes. And I DONT do snakes. AT ALL, so that slightly ruined it for me 😬

A bit more adventurous than the stop at Jackson Falls down the road. The trail is very steep in sections and you should be careful. If it has rained recently, be extremely careful on all wooden bridges/paths as they become very slippery. I enjoyed the trek to the bottom, but you can get a good view at the top before the trail gets difficult.

This is a stunning location with three small waterfalls. To begin your journey, take the unimproved trail downwards. As you begin, you will come across the overlook for the first waterfall. If you continue walking, you will have two options to reach the second waterfall: a steep stone path or the regular trail. A little further along the trail, you will reach the bottom of the second waterfall. Keep following the trail until the end to reach the bottom of the third waterfall.

This is an exceptional place on the Natchez Trace Parkway to stop and take a moderately difficult hike down into the basin of the falls there are a few small falls you come across on the way down. It is definitely worth the hike. The views are breathtaking.

Incredible!! This is a must stop if you are traveling on the Natchez Trace Parkway. We spent over an hour exploring and enjoying all the various falls. We continued past the pavement onto the "unimproved" path. It is well marked and worn. There are roots and rocks and it can be slippery when wet. I definitely recommend good shoes. Going down is not strenuous at all but depending on your state of health coming up may be tough. It can be done though! I am overweight and I just took breaks and it was fine! It was worth it and I wasn't going to miss this set of falls! The day we went there was enough run off that we saw 4 separate falls plus the various streams that connected them. We also had our 11, 8, and 5 year olds with us and they did great as well. Do not skip this one!

This is a beautiful waterfall! I almost missed it because it's all the way at the bottom! The trail is a little rugged getting down, but my son and I did just fine. And once you're at the bottom you're just in awe by the beauty of the waterfall. My son and I had it to ourselves for awhile before more people started showing up. It's so peaceful. I didn't want to leave! Lol. And this waterfall is only 15 minutes from Jackson Falls waterfall. I plan on coming back again in the fall.

Just off of the Natchez Trace Parkway, Fall Hollow Falls is worth the stop. A rest area parking is there, but a you corner the turn along the parkway you may miss it. Use caution traversing the steps down to the different falls viewing areas. Different falls are available to see. Rocks and trails can be slippery. Not sure about the reptiles in the area. Use caution, and be respectful of the waterfalls.

Stunning! 2 different falls and an inexplicable handicap parking spot. There is a fair amount of "unimproved" trail, I assume means "at your own risk", but if you're careful it is worth it!

Wonderful hike. The first half was paved and had bridges over creeks. Then it became an unimproved train. The trail led to two waterfalls! Both were refreshing. The creek was easy to navigate for the kids.

A beautiful series of falls that you can enjoy the sight and sounds of from the parking lot. For the real experience, take the short trail across the top of the falls and down to the bottom. Beautiful any time of the year. Just south of MM 391.

June 15th pretty waterfalls, definitely worth stopping by. Make sure you go down the natural rock steps to water at the end. That's the main view.

Short but steep hike to bottom of falls, so beautiful and a surprise 2nd waterfall in the opposite direction that you cannot see from viewing platform. So worth the steep hike!!

Edit: Went back on another day! So glad I did!!

Wish I got here earlier, as it was getting dark. I didn't get to walk the whole path, but what I did see was absolutely beautiful!

This waterfall is totally worth the drive. I highly suggest taking the Natchez Trace from highway 100. Nice drive, small hike down to the falls. Totally worth it.

A wonderful place to stop along the amazing Natchez Trace Parkway! Beautiful waterfalls on a meandering stream running through the Tennessee wilderness! A decent walking/hiking trail with incredible views! Just watch out for snakes in the warmer months! I highly recommend taking time to stop here as my wife and I loved it and will definitely be going back!

The view is gorgeous. Just listening to the water flowing before the falls was immensely satisfying.

The walk down to the first landing of the falls from the parking area is short. Watch your step, and wear proper shoes, as parts of the path are unpaved and can get washed away after storms.

Short and easy hike, very pretty. You can stay on pavement and get a view down at the falls, or hike down a steep rooty trail to check the falls out from the bottom. Great spot.
