Food was amazing. Ribeye was exactly how I ordered it and probably the best steak I’ve ever had. Potato was amazing. Salad was delicious and the croutons were perfect. Cheesecake was 10/10 absolutely perfect. Service was amazing too especially for a Friday night. It was also not to quiet and not too loud in there either. Has to be one of, if not the best restaurant experiences I’ve ever had.

Food was amazing. Service was excellent. Atmosphere was fantastic. I had salmon. Hubby had filet mignon.

Had a big party (11+ppl), get together and the waitress was very sweet and polite. She was spot on with all of our orders and kept the drinks topped off. Grade A service and the place was spotless and very comfortable. Thanks for such great service on a wonderful day!

Great place right on the square. Food was good. Folks were super friendly. Our server never let my glass of tea get empty (love that)! They have outdoor seating and live music sometimes.

We stopped randomly during a trip in the southern US. One of the best restaurants we ate at. All the dishes (6) were successful and tasty.

Went here for my birthday and was very impressed with the great food and service. Highly recommend eating here and I will be going back.

This is a superior small town local restaurant downtown on the square.I had the cheeseburger, chips, drink special- very tasty.
The facility is warm, stained wood, inviting, and is kept very clean inside. Three separate rooms and a take-out courtyard outside. Yep! This is a return trip😎

Our server was courteous and the restaurant was filled upon our entrance and we waited some but as we were seated she gave us a choice where we could sit and served us greatly. Thank you Emerald's and Merry Christmas to you all

What a nice evening! Excellent service amd great food at a good price. The mango pineapple dressing was awesome. Couldn't ask for better.

Great out of the way place to eat.. stop on your way in and read the history of this place dating back to the 70s.. everything is great at great prices with a homey upscale vibe..

First visit. Very satisfied! Nice atmosphere with cool memorabilia decorations. Hamburgers, chicken, ham and cheese croissant..very delicious. Staff were friendly, sweet,and prompt. Highly recommended and we will visit again.

I don't understand on a Saturday afternoon this place was dead. My bill for 3 people was $42.00, I mean for nowadays? That's pretty much average. But for the food quality? It was worth it. The steak sandwich was enjoyable and perfect for each bite. Our waiter was on point and attentive. Waynesboro is a drive for us, but not that far geez. We enjoyed our time there and it's too dang bad there's not too much shopping to make the stay at the square longer. Seriously, stop rolling up the carpet and leaving the restaurant by themselves. I'm glad it's still there, looks just like when we first came there. And the food is always just as good. Go there, let's start encouraging small towns to be worth going to again! Because this is a town that is worth it, and Emeralds is a gem.

Delicious food, reasonable price! My steak was cooked perfect, shrimp were a little salty for my taste, but delicious all the same. 😊
