Dr. Ally James is an amazing veterinarian who has shown great care and dedication in her field. She has dealt with all of my dog’s health concerns with the utmost diligence and dedication. The staff at Town & Country Vet is knowledgeable, friendly, and dedicated to all of your pets needs. I would not even dream of taking my animal anywhere else.

My wife and I greatly appreciate the care provided by Town & Country. The entire staff has been incredibly helpful and passionate about their care for our cats over the years. Even after moving three hours away, we decided to keep coming back! Thank you Dr. Nick Ashford and Team!!

Dr. Merriman is wonderful. He takes time to make sure I understand Mabel's needs and medication options. He doesn't rush to add new medications or up her dosage. I feel very supported and know they want her to have a happy and healthy life regardless of her special needs.

Doctor Ally James Has proven herself to be very knowledgeable and helpful everytime i've seen her. One of our dogs has a thyroid condition and she has been excellent in treating this disease state. She helped us titrate the medication and followed up until Murphy's medicine was at just the right dose.

A few years ago we moved to Apex. I took our dog to several veterinary hospitals to get a feel for each practice. When I found Town and Country, I realized that my search was over. The staff is friendly and efficient. The veterinarians are highly trained professionals. I always feel confident that our dog is in good hands when I take him there. They truly care about their animal patients. They did a follow-up call this morning to make sure that our dog was feeling better.

We just moved to the Apex area with a senior dog who is having a lot of "growing old" issues. I was very nervous about finding a vet who would be good for him at this point. Dr. Groulx was fabulous. She was very sensitive to his current situation (hearing and sight have both gotten bad), and very knowledgeable about options to address his digestive issues without breaking the bank. But the thing I appreciated most is that she acknowledged that some of his issues may just be telling us that his time on earth is growing short, and she approached it in just the perfect balance of empathy and kindness. I know this intellectually, and I am preparing myself for it... but I just really appreciated the way she handled the subject. I'm grateful to have found Dr. Groulx and Town and Country to manage Sam's care in his senior days.

I am very pleased with the care our dogs receive at Town and Country! Our older dog has some health issues and the vets always address issues proactively and include me in decision making. Our younger dog, who had some anxiety about the vet, has become comfortable with his visits. He still hates getting his nails trimmed, but they always work to make him comfortable. We are usually able to get an appointment within a couple of days, which I appreciate. Highly recommend!

Doctor Ashford is the best vet I have ever encountered and has been the primary care giver for our dogs over the last 19 years. My wife and I are both Army retirees, so we have encountered many different vets as we navigated our careers. None have been as caring, dedicated, thorough, or approachable as Dr. Ashford. After moving near Greensboro in 2017, we have continued to take Mojo, our old man, to Town and Country even though it's an hour and a half drive. For the last two plus years, Dr. Ashford has treated Mojo's chronic kidney. After every test or checkup, Dr. Ashford calls about the results, and we reassess all elements of Mojo's supplements, diet, and fluids to maximize his treatment, allowing us to let Mojo live his best life as we manage his decline. Making the experience even better, Town and Country's techs and staff are always friendly, caring, and helpful.

The staff at Town and County are very caring and sweet. My Jack Russel has had some health issues. My previous vet was awful with diagnosing his treatment and being straight forward. Town and County is efficient at getting to the root cause, providing treatment and being clear with how to care for the specific issues. I will continue to recommend them to others.
