Holiday Inn Express & Suites Selma, an IHG Hotel

We have never seen such a cohesive ensemble of caring, genuinely kind people. The staff here treat us like family. Everyone is literally so kind. From the cleaning staff to the front desk staff, every single person deserves a raise for excellence and going the extra mile. Our room was amazing, the view was lovely, the blinds were fantastic and truly BLACKOUT, the air conditioner was ice cold, and there’s even a fridge! Most hotels don’t even have those. The glow up vanity mirror was a gorgeous addition to the spacious bathroom upgrade and the room is huge. Plenty of space and storage for long term stays. The best part of all, though, were the beds. They ARE SO SOFT. Plenty of real pillows — none of the cheap, thin kind. The pool was a great escape from the oppressive Texas heat, too. Plus there were PLENTY of fantastic places to eat around and nearby. Heather, Brandon, Layla, Aubrey, and Noah are the backbones of this well-oiled machine, making sure every guest feels welcome, appreciated, and cared for. Thank you for an excellent stay. This is our forever hotel-home away from home.

Hello I wanna take this moment to recognize Brandon's excellence. Most of the time when I go to a Holiday Inn, I go and check in and leave it at that. Somehow Brandon manage to change that, he gave me and my girlfriend a wonderful experience. He had such a radiant energy and he was so easy to have a conversation with. Now as for our experience in our room it was amazing ! Now we started coming to San Antonio once a month and I think this might be our hotel of choice from now. Especially when we checked out Serenity was patient enough to answer my questions as well. This Hotel has the best staff ever, especially the cleaning staff were great to talk to ! I highly suggest this location for any stay.

We were in town for our kids soccer tournament for the weekend and got checked in by Brandon who was extremely nice and attentive. Our room door was having malfunctions and Brandon got on it and upgraded us in no time. Thank you Brandon for a wonderful stay and keep that amazing attitude you have. Hotels need more employees like you.

I stayed at this hotel for a few nights and it was wonderful. It is relaxing, pleasant and comfortable. What else can you ask for in a hotel. I use many IHG hotels and there are many to choose from in San Antonio, but I will return here. The front desk employees are nice and friendly. I always consider that first experience as a reflection of management. The breakfast area is nice and they had many options to choose from. My room and bed was very comfortable. My only complaint was I slept so well I snoozed my alarm too many times!

Very nice people at the desk. We're able to answer our questions about getting to different places. Clean rooms but need some work in the shower.

Staff was friendly and courteous. Rooms were spacious and very accommodating. Breakfast was great! Hotel amenities were superb!

These guys do a great job. I've stayed in a lot of hotels and this is one of the better places. A young man checked us in about nine o'clock and did a wonderful job - very friendly! The hotel and room are very clean which is maybe the most important to me. Breakfast was perfect and friendly kitchen staff greeted us. I'd stay here again!

Great and Friendly staff always willing to help. Brandon at the front desk is great, location is great! Cheddars and Hooters within walking distance. Right across from Retama Park horse track in Selma. Right off interstate 35 so very convenient.

Great choice for hotel if ever in the area. This will be my new go to. Katie at front desk is so sweet and welcoming. She was helpful and made sure we had everything we need for a comfortable stay. All areas of the hotel were very clean. We enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi sparkling clean!

The beds here are SUPER comfy. Room is clean. Staff is helpful and pleasant to be around. I definitely appreciate the food in the morning. This chain of hotels is usually a safe bet and this location is a good one.

Great place for our staycation. Great front desk agent. Room was nice and clean. And close to restaurants. Also enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi as well. Highly recommend.

Our front PM staff (Brandon) was an excellent and friendly employee. I wish all public workers were as kind and friendly. Our AM lady was very chipper and helpful at 5:40am !!!

Great check in! The breakfast was good and the room was clean. Staff was fabulous and they called me a few hours after I notified that I left my $$ headphones in the room. Such an amazing customer service. Thank you!!!

After walking in without a reservation I was greeted by the very nice lady at the front desk and she was able to book 2 rooms for me. The rooms were great and very clean. I would definitely reccomend staying here. It's really close to alot of shopping and food too.

The Holiday Inn Express in Selma Texas is a great place to stay. The staff is so nice and they always have a nice word to say when you pass by them. It is affordable. It is clean. It is close to food shopping entertainment and fun for the whole family. I actually stay here about twice a year and have done so for the past 3 years. It's become my home away from home when I come to visit family. I highly recommend Holiday Inn Express in Selma Texas.

Our room was spacious and bathroom was big. We were very impressed. Free breakfast was good and had a nice variety of choices. All the staff was great & very accommodating and very friendly. Special shout-out to Morgan who went above & beyond.

The staff were AMAZING! seriously, they were the nicest, most helpful people we have stayed with before. It's pretty much just a typical holiday inn express building and facility, but the staff really made it stand out. We stayed for 3 nights and they were all great!

Hotel room was clean and everything worked as it should. Bed was fantastic. Best sleep I've had in awhile. Food options around the hotel were great. Check in and out was fast and painless.

All experiences with staff were exceptionally great! Best IGH Hotel stay ever. Breakfast was plentiful. I definitely recommend staying here. Just don't miss your exit, you'll have to go all the way around. There are no back streets to navigate back.
