Island Garden Center

What an amazing nursery. Bought an orchid but they have tons of fun and exotic plants in stock. Awesome prices as well on plants and pots/soil/supplies. Also the man working (sorry I forget his name) was super friendly and one of the reasons I went back again the next day. Luckily for me they just got another shipment of exotic orchids in from Hawaii that morning so I got first dibs on some awesome hard-to-find ones. He also recognized me from the other day and greeted me a with a handshake; which was genuine and thoughtful. I drove over 45 minutes from Rodanthe to this place because it’s that awesome. Will be back!

I am from out of state and recently had my wedding on the beach in Hatteras. I stopped by in search of flowers. The lovely gentleman working that day was so kind and helpful. Not only did I have beautiful flowers for the wedding, but he also made sure that they would do well in our area when we plant them in the ground when we return home. Thank you for helping to make our wedding day magical!

Excellent service and very knowledgeable staff. They provided excellent suggestions for a plant that we will be giving as a gift as well as detailed growing instructions. Their plants were healthy and they had a number of exotic plants for purchase at excellent prices.

I absolutely love this place! I bought an air plant and a pot and they are absolutely amazing! I had a plant that was in bad shape and they repotted it for me and reassured me that the plant will live. 10/10 will to totally shop again.
