Klingspor's Woodworking Shop

The expertise of the people working here is top notch. I’ve been in a few times and have always gotten great suggestions. Most recently a product recommendation for Liberian Ring Remover saved a family heirloom from having to be restored.

I was in the Cary store last week and bought some pure tung oil (hurrah!) and a two-man crosscut saw from the tool consignment area. During checkout, they showed me a bellows for bagpipes. At the time I was too preoccupied with fires going on at work to realize what I was seeing. After returning home, and while reading the Sawdust newsletter, I saw that one of the staff makes bagpipes. That’s when it dawned on me that the bellows they showed me must have been handcrafted. I sincerely apologize for not realizing this earlier. I want to say the bellows looked excellent, and I regret not appreciating what I was seeing at the time. (Please pass on my sincerest apologies.)

The staff at the store are fantastic and the store is delightful. I highly recommend anyone into woodworking stop by the Klingspor's Woodworking Shop of Cary.

The staff’s knowledge and experience helped me make my final purchase decisions with confidence and clarity. I ordered some doweling rods, which FedEx lost. I spoke to FedEx, and contacted Klingspor's after nothing happened with FedEx. They immediately resent the order using UPS, which arrived today.

Today Klingspor Woodworking Shop staff proved to be awesome to me. I called ahead knowing I would arrive at 4:58pm. They close at 5. I arrived at 5:01pm. They had everything I needed waiting at the checkout desk for me knowing I'd be late. Wonderful staff. Thanks so much.

I'm like a kid in a candy shop at this store! GREAT prices on lumber, abrasives and everything else I see. Doug really came through today with helping me find the 3" abrasive roll. They will let you be to just admire the tools but are also very ready and willing to assist. HIGHLY recommend this store and company!

The staff was very helpful and the selection of wood was amazing...oak, walnut, zebrawood, cherry, mahogany, sapele, canarywood, too many to list. Loved the store!

just a really good place to meet with your freinds

Never been in the store, however I ordered online some 116 inch bandsaw blades and they promptly shipped them to Dayton, Ohio. Reasonable priced blades and as needs come along to order more items I'll give them the business

Klingspor's Woodworking Shop is one of the few places where I can get the finishing supplies I need. Also, they have most anything else a hobbiest or pro woodworker might need. They even handle special orders well, when necessary

Over the past year, I’ve spent a lot of time and money at this store. They’ve got great prices and offer sound advice. Everything recommended to me by their staff of experienced employees I’ve done my own research on and found concurrent, positive reviews. Pricing is very competitive - even with Amazon. I couldn’t be more pleased with this store. Woodcraft in Raleigh isn’t bad but I find their employees to be less helpful, if not a tad grumpy and condescending. Klingspor is my go-to woodworking supply store!

Awesome store. I've been an online customer for years and this was my first in person visit. I've never seen so much beautiful wood and such a large selection of supplies and equipment. The staff is super friendly and really know their business. Highly recommended!

They were of great help to me in finding the supplies I needed - AND pointing out alternative, and less expensive ideas and supplies. I told the clerk what I was there for, and he guided me to the section of the store containing those items (the one section I did not check of course).

Came in for some advice on poly for some old heart pine floors and Bill listened carefully to what I wanted to accomplish ( durability, quick dry time, maintain original color and patina, etc..) then went straight to a product. I wanted to try the product but have to drive over and hour to do so and as they did not have all that I might need he offered sell me a gallon to test with, pull the remainder off shelf and order in the additional 5 gallons to the store. Product looked great on my floor and staff could not have been nicer to deal with especially for someone with little wood experience.

I highly recommend shopping with the folks at Klingspor in Cary, NC. Jay, the sales manager did such an awesome job at helping us make the right decision, we are so happy with our purchase. Mateen and Cayla were also friendly and helpful, they made the transaction a pleasure. The entire team has been so patient, kind and gracious with us, we thank you!

One of best local woodworking store in Wake country. They have lot good wood choice and even lot good clearance on wood too. They sell many old antique hand tools too. I notice their price is little cheaper than other store. Great store to shop for your need.
