Mayfair Animal Hospital

Yesterday was our first time to visit Mayfair and we brought our new kitten in for a meet & greet, so she could be acclimated to vet visits and meet Dr. Bailey! The front desk staff, vet tech, and Dr. Bailey were all amazing in greeting us and Elune, as well as making it as "pawsitive" experience as possible! The exam room we used even had a window facing a bird bath, which our cat enjoyed exploring!

Dr. Bailey treated our older kitties a few years ago and does an wonderful job. He truly cares for his clients and we are so thrilled to see him at Mayfair!

I have been taking my pets here for over 20 years. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Everyone at Mayfair is amazing. I trust them completely with the care of my pets. Highly recommend!!

Our dogs, Abby & Zoe, have been very well taken care of at Mayfair for the last 12 years! Dr Bristol was our vet from the beginning and was always an excellent provider and so caring while our older dog has gone through many health scares. Now that she has retired, we decided to see Dr Bailey who was so wonderful, along with his vet tech. They were both very gentle, friendly, and thorough with Abby. Also, shout out to Monica who is always lovely at the front desk :-)

Dr. Foster has been terrific to our two dogs. Particularly, she did a tremendous job helping us with our golden doodle’s ear infection by referring us to a specialist. We had seen half a dozen veterinarians that tried to treat it themselves, and this led to a twelve month long infection, plus a potential surgery. Dr Foster’s knowledge of the infection was outstanding, but we were more impressed with her awareness of what to do when conventional care doesn’t cut it. I highly recommend Dr Foster!

We were referred to Mayfair by neighbors and we have referred neighbors to Mayfair. Milly our Boston terrier loves the Mayfair team.

Dr Rusniak and staff are caring and very professional. They discuss test and treatment options as cost can sometimes play a role in how much to do for a pet. Their office seems like a place where they know your pet , not a big corporate Banfield type place. We are now on our second golden retriever with them and appreciate all they do.

Love Mayfair!!! Yesterday was the first time seeing Dr. Bailey and he is AWESME!!! My furbabies are in great hands! The staff is wonderful and fun. Looking forward to a long relationship with these folks.

We have been with Mayfair for 3 years now. They have treated us now from annual exams to surgeries. Dr. Smith and Dr. Bristol have both been great. They have guided us through cancer with sound and honest advice. We had the option to be referred out or stay within the practice. I am really happy with our decision to stay in house to receive our care. I have felt reassured in my decision and my pups health and happiness this past month as we have navigated cancer removal. I don't know if the doctors see these reviews. but if so Marty and our family thank you for your help and care!

Mayfair Animal Hospital is the best ever. They are excellent in professional care and treat all with love and respect. I have taken my pets there for 30 years. All the doctors and staff are wonderful. I always feel confident that my pet is getting the best treatment. Dr. Bristol has treated my 3 cats and 4 dogs over 30 years. We all love her.

We've been going to Mayfair for almost 10 years for our dogs and cats. We board them there as well when we go out of town, and Raven, the groomer, is amazing. I had to put my 16 year old cat to sleep a few weeks ago, and they were great and very compassionate throughout the process.

The highest quality veterinary services that you can receive in the area. Have taken four different animals here for full lifecycle care over the past 20+ years and would recommend to anyone who wants the very best for their pet.

I have taken my four legged family members to Mayfair for over 20 years, and I could not be more pleased with the outstanding care they have provided. The veterinarians at this hospital are top knotch in every aspect. They are up to date on the the latest advances in Veterinary medicine and surgical procedures, and I take great comfort in knowing Mayfair is accredited with American Animal Hospital Association.
This accreditation is so important, but not required by the state. If I were in search of a doctor for myself, I would want one that went above and beyond what is just required. And I certainly want that for my pets as well. Not only are the veterinarians knowledgeable, but they are extremely compassionate. They truly understand I am a pet parent not just a pet owner.
The staff is also very loving, friendly, and efficient. Several of the vet techs have been there for many years and I see they love what they do. The receptionists always make us feel welcome.
In a town such as Cary where there's an animal hospital on just about every corner, I'm so fortunate I found Mayfair 23 years ago. Most importantly, I know my pets are in the best care possible!

I was dog-sitting via Rover while doggos parents were outta town. He was suffering some severe seasonal allergy reactions and Mayfair was super friendly and was able to work with the dog owner and myself to make sure he got his medication. I also asked a couple animal related questions they were happen to answer. Thank you!

Dr. Bristol is an excellent vet, and she takes such good care of our cat, Zoe. We wouldn't take her to anyone else. As an update to this post, I'm very happy with Dr. Bristol and her team at Mayfair. They always know how to help Zoe! We have been going to Dr. Bristol now for twelve years and appreciate all of her knowledge and guidance. Zoe is a healthy senior cat.

I live in Raleigh but Mayfair was recommended to me by two people, when my Persian developed an acute case of Flea Allergy Dermatitis and my current vet was not solving the problem. I've been extremely pleased with the vets and staff since 1981, and wouldn't consider anyone else. The care and compassion is unmatched, as I have said "Goodbye" to several pets over the years. When a difficult decision must be made I often ask, "What would you do if it were your pet?" I want the best care possible for my companions and I get it from Mayfair. Any medical practice can experience emergencies which push back appointments upon occasion, so I've learned to bring reading material. I prefer quality over speed, if that is the choice, in all areas of my life. I love you, Mayfair.

Our first visit here with our dog was for an urgent issue on New Year's Eve. He needed a procedure under anesthesia after an injury. The staff and doctor, from the time they first picked up the phone, to the exam, the procedure, and phone call after to check on our dog, showed that they care. They were very accommodating when working us in. The front desk staff and technicians were all wonderfully kind and efficient. It's clear that they love their jobs! Dr. Foster had a great manner with me and our dog, and she took the time to explain and involve me in the decision making. We'll certainly bring our pets - all 3 - here for their routine care.
