I got to go to This place when I was staying in a airbnb down the road and I will say this was one of my favorite art stores over ever been to. The lady that runs it is incredibly nice and me and my sister went there whenever we could. I can’t wait to go back and I highly suggest you check out some of the art they have!

I love this place! What a treasure! Sheila is an amazing artist! My sister and I could have spent hours just gazing at the incredible painted shells. Sheila finds shells and sees animals or scenes in them and then brings them to LIFE! It was so great to meet and talk with her. I can't wait to go back next year!

Sheila is an awesome artist! Many options for henna and also very beautiful artwork (made personally by her)! Very kind and gentle when working with you! Also very knowledgeable with aftercare on henna! Johnathan is also a nice part of the shop, a bird that comes to her window and she feeds, and a very nice outside backspace with birds and even raccoons! Very friendly environment!

This was by far my favorite place we stopped on this vacation. Sheila and her daughter were both amazing. Friendly and talented doesn't say enough. I will definitely be back.

The story behind the gallery/shop and owners is what makes this place feel like a home away from home. Been coming down to Avon for 30 years and being able to connect with natives makes you feel apart of the community. Every art piece is unique, beautiful and special knowing that it's all made by a native ARTIST, Shelia the owner! She was so so sweet and talented.
While visiting, mom and I got hair wraps by Sarah. Not only talented and did we love our wraps but we also loved Sarah. A very true, genuine person that took us down memory lane while getting our hair done.

Such a cute store! We dropped in for henna tattoos (which we loved!) and picked up a couple of hemp bracelet kits.

My wife and daughter have been going here for years and look forward to making jewelry every vacation. The owners are so nice. My wife and daughter highly recommend Beads of Paradise!

2022 update: my wife and daughter had another great experience. 6 or more years now and they love every trip. Also picked up a hand painted Christmas ornament. Simply a great place and caring owner.

Stopped here to check out this sweet little shop and beyond getting some gorgeous henna tattoos, chatting with the owners was the highlight! I love hearing people's stories, and this family has an amazing one. The whole family is talented :). Stop by and check this place out, it won't disappoint!

My daughter and I stopped in on our last day on Hatteras. She got a great looking Henna tattoo, and I found an awesome lighthouse piece. All the jewelry is handmade.

Shelia was very welcoming and chatted about her love of art and being a lifelong resident.

Such a wonderful place. The owners are so kind and their art is truly unique and very beautiful. It's fun to make jewelry with the dozens of bead choices, and the setting is super cool - lots of wildlife to enjoy right outside the window!

This place is a hidden gem and absolute wonderland of island artistry!!!! I could've browsed Sheila's unique art for hours!!! From the bird-watching views, to the art, shells, jewlery, rocks, etc, we loved our time here. Amazing. A MUST stop & see!!!
