The Blue Lagoon

My husband, daughter and I visited The Blue Lagoon. As soon as I walked in I felt the magic atmosphere. The woman who owns this is wonderful. We talked for quite awhile. She is very knowledgeable about the Outer Banks, the craftsmen, and what she has in this shoppe.I could spend hours looking around and seeing different things. If you appreciate the arts and great conversation take the time and visit this place. You won't be disappointed !

I love this little store so much. Everything in there is locally made and the woman who runs it is extremely friendly and knowledgeable about all the artists/art in her store. She also sells these delicious hand-made truffles that are to die for. If you're looking for a unique gift from the islands then I cannot recommend this shop enough! Skip the cliché tourist shops that you can throw a stone and hit three in the same line, shop for something special that also helps the local artists!

Got some wonderful gifts from this shop, very unique, hand crafted items. Chatted with the owner the entire time I was there (about two hours) there’s so much to see and it seems like new things appear the second time you walk around! She was very sweet. A dragonfly had flown into the store and we were trying to show it the way out lol. Pretty crazy was that it was chillin on the wall next to another dragonfly- made out of glass- haha.

Amazing is an understatement for this place. From the moment I walked in the door, I was treated like royalty by the owner. She welcomed me in with a smile, answered all of my (many, many) questions and made me feel like we had been friends forever. The art is incredible, the service is spectacular and the chocolate... IT'S TO DIE FOR!! I loved coming to the island before but now I can't wait to come back to visit the Blue Lagoon!

This shop has lots of unique items. We loved looking at all the works of various artists and talking with the store owner. She really got me thinking more about putting myself out there as an artist.

Grace is "Good" people. If you need a gift or just gorgeous items for yourself and your home this is the place. We visit at least twice every time we are on the sandbar! Can't wait to eat those chocolates this year. The Local Artists are always amazing. See you soon.

A great little artisan glass and jewelry and gift shop filled with unique items, many hand made. The staff was delightful and engaging. Of you need something special to remember your OBX visit or to decorate your shore abode, stop by.

I stumbled upon this shop last year while in OBX and I made it point to go back this year. The owner is the sweetest woman and she is very knowledgeable about each piece in her shop and really all things on the island. Last year she had a big conversation with my daughter about her own artwork and when we walked in this year she remembered her right away and proceeded to have in-depth conversation with her about this past “Covid” year. It was really nice and thoughtful. This will definitely be a yearly stop

Wonderful gift shop!!! Lots of beautiful items and the candy, especially the salted caramel fudge, us to die for!!! Gracie, the owner, is very personable and ready to help you find the perfect piece of jewelry or piece of art. Just look for the bright blue building beside Frisco Sandwich, with lots of colorful flowers around it. Well worth stopping to take a look. My favorite gift shop on Hatteras Island!!!

This gallery/gift shop is a must see if you're traveling to the Hatteras Island area! There is a wonderful selection of local art, pottery,unique gifts, & things you simply won't find in many of the other stores. The owner is so friendly & sweet, which added to the enjoyable experience.

Great shop! She has a fantastic array of gifts, pottery etc! This is the best store we have been in all week in the outer banks! Will definitely be back!

A 'must stop in' if you are on Hatteras Island. Gracie always had beautiful items for sale and a welcoming smile for her guests!

Gracie was great to talk to. We purchased a few things for us our puppies and a Christmas gift for my sister in-law. We also enjoy a blueberry bliss truffle and a dark chocolate sea salt caramel. Both were delicious a very enjoyable experience all in all.

My partner and I stayed in the airbnb. It was so cute! The shop next store is so fun and supports local artists. We definitely plan on staying here again.

Wonderful shop! Beautiful handmade things inside! Anything from blown glass to ceramics! I wanted so many things! Shop keeper is very nice too!
