Kiwi Designs, Fine Blinds & Shutters

Everyone at Kiwi Designs is so incredibly friendly and helpful, this is now our go to place for Hunter Douglas shades. We had a so-so experience from another Hunter Douglas store a few years ago, but our design consultant from Kiwi Designs, Tiffany, listened carefully to our requirements and what we didn't like so much from the previous place and designed the perfect setup for us for an extremely reasonable price.

From the design to working with David and Buddy for the install, the execution was flawless. There was one slight mix up for a couple of the shades, which came in incorrectly, but this is where a company can really shine in how they correct the issue and Kiwi Designs came through with flying colors, setting expectations, re-ordering the shades and then delivering/installing them 3 times faster than promised!

You can't go wrong with Kiwi Designs for your Hunter Douglas shades design and implementation.

We can't speak highly enough of our experience working with Tiffany at Kiwi Designs. Our decision making process tends to be on the slow side. Tiffany was always patient and communicative. She would contact us at just the right moments to see how we were progressing with our thinking about possible options. She gladly organized samples to be sent to our home or brought samples over herself and came over to finalize details prior to our completing the purchases. The installers are professional, personable, and quick. We have used Kiwi Designs for two different projects and are supremely happy with all our new window coverings. Honestly, we feel true joy when walking into these two rooms now. Highly recommended

I LOVE my beautiful new shades! Tiffany made the design process so much easier. She is experienced, very knowledgable about all of the different products, interior design trends and was very helpful in narrowing down the many options to help me find just the right fit. The installation by Buddy was great. Very friendly and staff with good customer service. I highly recommend them.

I called Kiwi to see about a repair of some broken strings in blinds installed by another company. They went way above and beyond to help, even though the particular brand of blind that we have was not their specialty. They looked up the warranty terms of the brand, and they recommended a local repair person. Next time, I will use Kiwi from the start and I greatly appreciate their willingness to respond quickly to my call and offer helpful advice.

I have Hunter Douglas Silhouette blinds I bought about 25 years ago. Several years ago, a cord broke and I chose to go to Kiwi Designs (then operating under a different name) rather than the company that had sold me the blinds because of the original vendor's poor customer service when they made a mistake in another order. Kiwi was friendly and helpful even though my request was a small one. I thought to myself, "Any new business goes to this company." Fast forward a decade or so and I did seek out Kiwi. They were just as helpful and professional as my previous encounter. They helped me match new Silhouettes to my old ones (still like new after 25 years!). When I later had a problem with my one of my older blinds they helped me track down new hardware; contacted Hunter Douglas on my behalf, who then provided me the hardware free; and then Kiwi sent me videos when I had difficulty installing the hardware. Now that's professionalism and service.

We have Hunter Douglas window blinds in every room of our home. We purchased these blinds 9 years ago. When one broke recently, Kiwi Designs packaged the blind and sent it in for repair. Since the blind is still under warranty, there was no charge to us. The repaired blind came to our house in just 2 weeks and is as good as brand new! We are grateful to have Kiwi Designs to work with. They are such a thoughtful, efficient and kind company.

Kiwi Designs hit the ball right out of the park for us from the moment we said we needed a quote on window treatments for our home.
Norma was our design consultant, very soft spoken, knowledgeable, pleasant and accommodating, Sue the lady who sends Buddy (my favorite installation gentleman who’s now “my best friend” 😀) is also very pleasant and easy to work with.
Buddy is by far the most pleasant, accommodating, considerate, efficient and on point installer I’ve had the pleasure of working with! He even did me a personal favor and installed a screen I had for my attic while installing our plantation shutters; what a guy!
All in all , if you’re on the market for window treatments, Kiwi Designs is the way to go.
They brought us free temporary blinds while we waited on our ordered products to be shipped. The quality of the products they helped us select and the work is impressive!

We’ve used Kiwi, formerly AAA, for window coverings at several of our homes ... they’re top-notch. Excellent products and excellent service, from design to scheduling to installation. We’ve purchased a variety of shutters, blinds, and roller shades. Tiffany’s suggestions always look fantastic; we trust her taste more than we trust our own. Buddy’s installations are seamless. We haven’t had problems with any of the products we’ve purchased (except for self-inflicted ones). It’s a real pleasure to be able to recommend a company so highly!

We purchased shutters for our newly built home. Tiffany guided us through the vast array of options and choices. The shutters arrived ahead of schedule and the installation was impeccable. We moved into a new home during the pandemic. Furnishing it has been quite a challenge. One of the bright spots in that long process has been working with Tiffany and staff at Kiwi Designs. I had purchased blinds from them when they were AAA Blinds many years ago and was happy to find that the staff and service continues to be excellent. With new home overload, Tiffany was great in focusing selections while listening to my overall concept. The order was correct, came on time and they even handled the rebate paperwork - not small accomplishments during covid! Buddy was professional and friendly. He also wore a mask the entire time and was respectful of social distancing. Kiwi Designs is a model for all companies during the pandemic and beyond. I would definitely use them again.

Great experience. Tiffany came to the house and was able to easily match a shade and shutters I loved to the style and decor of my home. I wasn’t overwhelmed looking through books. It was a very easy design process. A few weeks later Buddy came to install everything. He was wonderful as well. A very professional and reliable business. Worth the money.

The Kiwi design consultant who visited our home was friendly, professional and knowledgeable and she helped us find the perfect shade for our particular need. The installer did an excellent job! We are very pleased with the quality and workmanship of our new Hunter Douglas oversize shade.

We recently moved into a new home which required window treatments for 20 windows. We are Hunter Douglas fans and knew that Kiwi Designs was the place to go. Their design consultant, Tiffany Sayer is outstanding! Professional, experienced, understands your needs and budget and is able to make excellent design recommendations. Their office manager, Sue is on top of everything. She kept us informed throughout. Buddy, their installer is awesome. Again, professional, experienced and an all around nice guy. If you want the best, then Kiwi Designs is your place to go. Our windows are gorgeous!

David helped me out tremendously. I asked for his help with a measly valance clip for an older set of blinds that secures the facade piece (valance??). While I had hoped to hear back I never expected him to contact me back within a couple days to let me know the clips would be sent to me soon. Thank you kind sir. I highly recommend David with Kiwi Designs for his excellent customer service!

I bought blinds for my house from Kiwi 10+ years ago. One of them had an issue recently and David @ Kiwi helped me get warranty service on that blind.

We are moving and needed a part for a broken mounting bracket for a Hunter Douglas shade. In speaking to David, he was not only helpful but wise in his advice for making it happen! Staff helped me navigate through a lot of options to products that fit our color scheme and kept us in budget.

Install was efficient and they didn't leave a mess.

Outstanding quality plantation shutters, perfectly fitted and functional. They replaced two slats with flaws that we hadn’t even noticed. Sales and iInstallation crews are excellent. Motorized shade is perfect (and pricey). Thanks for a great experience.
