Shogun Japanese Restaurant

So much fun! We had such a great date day today and ending it with Shogun was the night topper! The cook was amazing and funny! The portion sizes were enough for 3 different meals. But the Bruce sushi roll was the best sushi roll I have ever had! Now being it was was just me and my husband it was pricey but with that said I'm one to look over the receipt and they had charged us a 15% gratuity prior to check out so there was over a ten dollar tip added to our bill before we ever received it and I dint really think that's fair to force people to tip you and one not make it known that's it being done and two I see if it was a party but 2 people we tip well anyways especially if they do good but our server never refilled drinks or bussed our table so it was messy and we were left thirsty but being he was going to make ten bucks off of us reguardless he wasn't too concerned if we left more than that or not so he was barely seen. So hopefully the cook got the gratuity tip because he was wonderful! So if your go just know your tip is included at the end already in the price at 15% without making you aware it's there unless you look!

Cute little get away tucked away on a hill in Macon. Service was great, funny and friendly. Our server's name was Sergio. He had a great sense of humor. We sat at the grill with another family and had a blast.

This time, I've tried karaage chicken box and was great as always.
I've tried other menus as well and they always make me happy!

Sushi is also very fresh chefs are very experienced.
Even for Japanese customers who knows sushi in Japan will be satisfied for sure!

Shogun is one of our favorite spots in Macon. Great atmosphere and everyone is always friendly. The hibachi chefs always do a great job and the food is spectacular. Wait times are not long and all and absolutely worth it. Give them a try you will not be disappointed!

Our chef was new to the establishment but said he had been doing this a long time he was funny had lots of tricks he had great customer service. The get me more roll was amazing as was our cherry blossom specials. He cooked everyething perfectly. Prices were reasonable the establishment was clean and all staff was friendly. We live 2 hours away but will return on every visit to the children's hospital.

Had my birthday dinner here and I absolutely loved it! Staff was very friendly and customer service was nothing short of amazing! The food was great! Thank you so much for making my day so special!

🍽 Hibachi entertainment is delightful, and chefs really appreciate participation and photos. Sushi menu is extensive with many fun and colorful options. I especially enjoyed the Give Me More roll with a big crunchy shrimp in the middle and the Kiwi Special with tuna and a slice of kiwi on top. We didn't try the cocktails, but they all look and sound delicious.🍹

The location sits atop a wooded hill with plenty of parking and a wheelchair accessible ramp for the main entrance. They currently offer indoor dining at the bar, hibachi grill, or regular tables, as well as takeout, curbside pickup, outdoor seating, special events and catering. Everything is made to order, so just let the staff know your preferences and sensitivities when you place your order. 🥢 Chopsticks are available upon request.

We tried this restaurant on a whim when our first choice was closed on a Monday. Glad we did! Definitely recommend 😋

You absolutely get the standard hibachi show, but you also get the the best sushi in Macon. Also some of the best service I've received in a Japanese steakhouse EVERY time we come here. It's more than just friendly service - they treat you like you live here every time they see you no matter how many months it's been. This time, I tried the All-in-One Roll on a friend's recommendation, and it was just what I want in a fried sushi roll! <3

This place is amazing. The beer selection of Japan beer is on point. They have Orion beer from okinawa. The food is great we did the teriyaki steak. Sushi boot looked good. I will give it a try again and again

Our cook entertainerd us as he did an amazing job preparing our meals on the grill table in front of us. My steak and chicken combo was delicious and cooked to perfection.

The best sushi in town by far! Absolutely delicious! I usually order the Bruce Roll, a crunchy and spicy shrimp roll. The other picture shows the mermaid roll, similar to the Bruce, as well as the Pretty Woman Roll, a fruity choice with mango slices. It all pairs with yum yum sauce perfectly!

Shogun is our go to place for sushi in Macon. Hands down the best most consistent we've ever had. Can't find the same flavor anywhere else. Hint: you have to write in the All in One roll since it isn't on the menu. A little spice and a whole lot of nice. Deep fried. Slathered in sauce. Perfection!

Visited for a lunch date. Place was clean. Staff informative and organized. Bar limited but had specialty drinks. Waitress advised us to get the pineapple sake warm and I'm in love. I only had sushi over conversation but it was all really good. We tried about 4 different rolls. Will definitely be going back.

Went here to celebrate my nieces college graduation and had a blast with the whole family. Great service and entertainment. The food was perfectly cooked, and the portions were enough to feed you twice. My 7 year old, who is an extremely lucky eater, was even able to enjoy the food. Amazing place to eat at. Would definitely return.
